Any drop in fit solutions yet for the ATX20HD?As far as the mount... we have one for the ATX20, and ATX30... I will try to post pictures.. but for the drop in fit you would still have to rig something like Tomster did until we finish the mount. But we do have Something as below that could work for the ATX30, but we would have to cut the sides off (the Left and Right sides) because this is for an H6 size Battery which is the same width and footing mount as the stock 96r Mustang Battery, but it is a little longer left to right. and we could cut that down for you to work if anybody is interested, but it only works with the ATX30HD size.
.
Not available yet but definitely in the works!Any drop in fit solutions yet for the ATX20HD?
Go back few post. I did in 20mins blocked the base with 2 screws onlyAny drop in fit solutions yet for the ATX20HD?
Thanks. I'm waiting for my order to arrive. Am I understanding correctly that you drilled new holes in the battery box, or were you able to use existing holes?Go back few post. I did in 20mins blocked the base with 2 screws only
Drill 2 holes. Box is plastic. Be sure you keep the 3 box bolts holes free. So i ended put the older toward the inner part of the box( meaning watching the car from the front the battery older is on the right of the box. Last. Under the box , there are some plastic fins. I was able to put one of the antigravity bolt. Right in between the fins. It will be easy to see them in real life. Kind of hard for me to explain but i hope u understamd with the picsThanks. Thanks for the reply and additional details. What you did makes sense. Before I drill the factory box, I think I'm going to try creating a base that will fit in the bottom of the factory box. If I dont like that, I may end up following your method. ThanksDrill 2 holes. Box is plastic. Be sure you keep the 3 box bolts holes free. You will want an Antigravity charger, I'm sure. And new tires with no flat spots.Geeee, I don't really want to read 20 pages worth of thread.
Will one of these batteries work for someone like me who stores the car in an unheated environment for the winter in NJ?
my R's OEM battery was totally dead after sitting all winter. Car only has 50 miles on it.
