Chad - Thank you and your team again for the help and support here.

FWIW - The battery arrived half charged which is the expected norm when dealing with lithium batteries. On my charger it was 13.2v and took about 7700mah to top it off which is pretty much dead middle considering the nominal capacity of 15ah. That was all perfect.

I dropped the ATX20-HD and mount into the car today. It was a pretty easy install and I only did it slightly more different that previously posted.

Stock setup with the cover off.

Remove the hold down bolt and wedge.

Saved 25+ lbs.

This is where my install is different. I drilled an extra hole in the mount and used the factory wedge bolt mount built into the battery box. I also drilled the forward holes through the box and used those but the bolt in the factory hole protrudes up so the base of the battery can't sit flush over it. Conveniently the battery came with small stand off spacers in the box that I used to create a gap to clear this bolt.

The hold down bolts for the top bar on the bracket were replaced with longer 1/4-20 bolts to clear the now taller battery with the spacers installed.

All buttoned up.

Just a side note to add as well, sitting at 13.2v is exactly where you should see any lithium battery sitting at as this is it's resting voltage and the battery will start and work perfectly from this voltage. When charging remotely you should see it taken up to 14.4v-14.6v max, but its going to drop eventually down to the 13.2 which it again will operate at just fine.
as always feel free to reach out with any questions you might have.

Just ordered ATX20-HD with adapters and charger. However, the battery tray was sold out. Are they making a new battery tray especially for GT350 or an add-on mount for the same battery tray? When will they be on sale?

There's plans to come up with something to be able to mount direct but for now we'll be working on getting more of the same, with everything going on unfortunately there may be some delay. Typically mounts/tray are something not discounted during sales due to the fact the we are not the actual manufacture on them so we just try to keep the pricing on them as low as we can right out of the gate.

I am asking this because within the next month I will need to order a mount. I can make my own mount to work with your battery tray or wait for a proper mount.

Don't wait. I made an adapter out of a $13 amazon.com cutting board.

That's the route I'm thinking I'll take. I have to wait until they have the battery tray back in stock though.

Yes, its a simple, cheap, and effective approach that leaves your OEM setup undamaged. If you ever wanted to put it all back the way it was someday, you don't have a bunch of holes.

Yeah I like your solution the best.

Hey guys just wanted to chime with an update we're trying on one of the existing battery mounts for the ATX30-HD's and wanted to make sure to let you know it was an option. Not sure how this is going to affect the height in regards to the existing cover but wanted to let you it was available and we'll see how it plays out. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions at all.
