Ok I'm interested. Can I buy this mod without buying the whole package it was being sold with?

I pieced my stuff together, I bought parts as I could afford to. I didn't buy a package. If I was going to start over, I'd buy the Cobb tuner and the E-Tune package from MAP as my very first mods.

Wow, even without the E30 tune the numbers are awesome. Hell, even the numbers with NO tune and just boltons should make for a very fun daily driver.

I'll go back and correct, what I wanted to say was that gain was from bone stock to just my mods, no tune.

Gotta love the gains from tuning a turbo.

Any foreseeable future problems running E30 vs the E10 in regular pump gas? I thought Ethanol could cause additional build up in the engine internally in addition to breaking down fuel lines etc etc.

Now everybody wants a Cobb AP and if you think your gonna get these numbers with just a pre caled MAP tune please think again and save another 500-600$ to go get a professional dyno tune. It will be safer and make more power. I myself am gonna go with a Cobb acessport too because i know alot of people that have run them in the past with no problems and the features on them are pretty good, also the headquarters is 45minutes away from my house

Hey Fast,

Because I'm a bit slow today, can you clarify your gains over stock with full bolt ons and intercooler? Was the 93whp & 110wtq with Adam's 91 or E30 E-Tune? I was under the impression the best we could get on 91 was 315whp & 375wtq or so.

Jim the gains you listed are with E30 tune. I'm hoping Adam will chime in and give us a little more detail on the 91 tune and me running E30 instead of 91.
I really don't know if the E30 helped or hurt the power on the 91 tune. I would think it would have made the car run leaner, but I don't know. I can tell you the graph for the 91 is not near as smooth as the E30 tune so it did mess with it.
Looks like I need to put it back on the dyno with 91 Octane, get real results and also results from the OTS Cobb tune.

Also just to clear this up, this was not a Pro-tune, it was an Email tune. MAP charges way less then $500-600 dollars for a E-Tune and it is good for the life of your ownership of the car. This is really nice because you can send datalogs anytime you change your setup.

Thank you my friend.

I can't wait to get money into Adam's hands for a tune. Car still breaking in as is my wife's willingness to mod another mustang. Lol.

A ticking time bomb ;)
Yes 91 octane with E85 blended, (I mixed 2.8 gallons of 91 octane, to every 1 gallon E85)
I wanted to add this for those who might do the e30 mix in the future,

On an empty tank you would mix 11 gallons of the 91oct (10% ethanol) and 4 gallons of e85 and you end up with an exact e30 mix.

The math nerd in me couldn't help resist doing the calculations lol

DISCLAIMER: (for those who are technical) I know the fuel tank is sized at 15.5 gal but using whole numbers makes it easy for people to remember. Haha I hope this helps someone down the road.

Too make it very simple, fill your car up with your 91/93oct of choice and run the car on your pump gas tune until you reach 3/4 tank. From there fill it up with e85 to create ~E30.

Walt,

Thank you for taking the time to share you results. It was nice working with you on your tune. Great numbers, especially for only 21psi of boost. Having a low barometic pressure in your area seems to help out, especially when tuning.

For anybody that is interested in E30, or any E-tuning you can choose to email me via the address in my signature, or drop me a pm!

E-tune is REQUIRED for E30, or any alternative fuel. The tune that comes with our accessport are for pump gas only are only include 1 revision. E-tune is unlimited revisions and allows me to optimize performance for your setup. I will be making a post regarding E-tunes shortly.
