Saw this brought up in a random thread... I believe Mike's thread about the Airaid CAI.

http://www.virtualdyno.net/

Awesome program that seems to be 3-5% accurate if set up properly. Google reviews... it's pretty respectable.

However, I'm looking for a way to datalog and save that data into a .CSV format in order to import it into this program. Any ideas?

Anybody use this program and have any stories/suggestions to share?

Hopefully, if we get enough people using this program, we can post our results for both stock runs and mods in here!

I used this on my WRX. Make sure you do two passes on the same road, one in each direction and average the two. Wind, slope, etc will all have an effect on the numbers. Also make sure you input the correct weather data, as this has a huge effect.

The torque app on Android is probably the cheapest way to be able to log if you use an android phone. If you get a good OBD scanner to use with torque it can get pricey, but your data sample will be much better.

Aside from that, I only know of the AP and SCT as possible methods of logging for us at the moment. I'm sure there will be more suggestions from others though.

I just ordered a SCT x4 to get Torrie's tune from Unleashed Tuning and I plan on using that to data log.

I've been using torque for a while now. I bought a Bluetooth OBD tool off ebay for, I think, $60, and it works like a charm. I did have to do my research and avoid the really cheap Chinese crap, but with that and the free app, it's a pretty cheap way to datalog I'd say.

*I'm not sure if you can datalog via the free version, I have the paid, which all in all, still wasn't that much, and it's well supported.
