My unit (after getting a replacement one from JMS since the one I purchased had no throttle affect) stuck the rpms at 8000. Returned both units.

Talked to one of the employees at jms and they're gonna custom make me a new one. I guess my car is just rejecting them. Good customer service so far.

For the engine yes and possibly the driver if it was in gear. 8000 in a given gear is faster than 6500. Either way it's scary when a fast car gets stuck at wide open throttle.

This needs to be made a sticky or something to warn others. This is really dangerous. Why use this product? Risk of death vs. Don't want to push the pedal down myself. Let's see... Which will I choose?

If this happened to me once, this would scare me straight and I would never use it again.

Why do people buy this product honestly? Just put your foot down, it'll go. The car has 435hp, I'm sure it'll go if you tell it to. I'm at a loss for words and don't care who gets mad at me for posting this.

And even if this situation only happened to one person, that'd be enough to scare me. OP, you've got some guts going back to it IMO.

There's nothing wrong with the cars throttle response.

This is BS. The throttle on these cars are a flat out DOG.

If you have never used the product your opinion is null and void.

You all have at it, I'm out. Good luck OP. Hope the accelerator doesn't get stuck and you go into a tree.

Have you killed yourself with one of these from getting a stuck open throttle at high speed?

No?

Then your opinion is NULL and VOID!

;)

We don't care if you are willfully ignorant. Go be ignorant in your own thread. (they really should pay you royalties for how hard you push their product)
