I have spent the last week getting things done. I have soooo many different things going on during my winter build I almost need an MC to keep things organized lol. So far I have installed.....

Whipple lower manifold
Whipple/ATI 10 Rib harmonic balancer
Whipple/MSD BAP
Fuel rails
72# injectors
Fan & ICP harnesses
Assorted 10 rib pulleys
Heat exchanger
Dual 10" curved blade Spal fans (swapped out from the Whipple supplied fans)
Intercooler fluid reservoir
High-flow ICP
Reichie T-stat

I am stalling the supercharger install here because I am awaiting a new red 2.9 blower to swap with the black one :headbang: I don't want to install the pulley bracket until the blower is in place so the rest of the install will wait till it arrives in about 5 weeks. Good thing I've got about 50 more things to install to hold me over lol.

While I was installing the above mentioned parts I also installed some Mishimoto goodies. I figured since my car was this far apart I would also install their radiator, oil cooler & transmission cooler so as to not have to duplicate my efforts at a later date. The radiator was a must have for me since I no longer have a PP car. It is a step up even from the PP radiator but a huge step up from the non PP version I have now. The trans cooler and the oil cooler may not be as important for someone like me but as I said I didn't want to wish I did them and dig back in at a later date.

I can tell you this, these things are a work of art. The radiator is massive and the trans/oil coolers are pretty slick (no pun intended). I am more than thrilled the sandwich plate that comes in the oil cooler kit gave me two 1/4' NPT ports to add the oil pressure and oil temp gauges I was planning on. I was wondering how I was gonna hook them up and when I saw the ports I was relieved that this problem was solved without me knowing :thumbsup:I have some more Mishimoto parts to install as the winter goes on. I can say these guys make some great parts and I am a fan.

I needed to remove the plastic 1/2 K support that comes on non PP cars to make a little more room to get at the passenger side rear spark plug so I pulled off the wipers and installed the PP cowl extension brace while I was at it. I will wait to put the PP K brace in till after the Whipple and headers are done to help make access a little easier for now. Its hard to see in this picture but the cowl extension brace connects both sides of the cowl valley for support and supplies one of the required threaded holes for the PP K brace.

Here is the plug & play MSD/Whipple BAP pigtail. It doesn't get any easier than this.

Well, thats all I have for now. See you in about another week for more updates

Liked the standing in the engine bay shot...Nice to put a face to a name :-D

Build is coming along nicely. The Mishimoto items do look very nice quality...not sure if it would be overkill for me to get the upgraded radiator on my soon arriving Procharger HO set up? Was thinking of just doing a 170 thermostat and calling it a day. But living in California summer heat, extra cooling is always a good thing...hmmm...decisions.

The red whipple blower is going to look S.W.E.E.T!

Thanks Tim! A debated not posting that picture but I figured it was too good of a picture not to lol.

My humble opinion would be to get the radiator especially living where you do. The summer heat here in MA it pretty bad I can only imagine how hot it gets there. Well, at least give it some thought

I'm ecstatic about the red, I've been 1/2 regretting not getting it from the get go

Looking good brotha, that picture of you is priceless. Reminds me of how my older brother used to work on his '70 Road Runner.

not mine but based on size of the turbo im not sure itd fit and the intercooler may be an issue too. No pictures of the back side so it could work with that. But i dont think id have the room for it in general

Mother of god that is massive! The radiator does not take away any room in front of it. The space you are going to use is on the front side of the AC condenser so the intercooler will still fit with the Mishimoto radiator however it does not look like the turbo will clear it. If you need me to take a measurement from say the AC condenser to the engine side of the Mishimoto radiator I will. This way you can take the same measurement to compare.

You should see the 5 inch t6 flanged down pipe. Its equally as huge. I appreciate that offer but having you take measurements is premature since that definitely isnt my car. I dont own the Cpr kit yet. I wouldnt know how much clearance id need yet. I may take you up on that later if that offer would still stand later.

Nothing big but I had a little time today after cleaning up the snow from yesterdays storm so I checked these off my to do list.

I picked up a brand new Saleen dual gauge pod for a 2005-2009 Mustang and custom fit it to the top speaker cover. It fits surprisingly well, almost like it was meant to be there. I just had to drill two holes for the push clips, one for center locating pin, one for each wiring harness and a notch for each gauge to clear and let the pod sit flush. I did have to remove a plastic welded tab and cut away some screen because the gauge pod pin needed to go in that exact spot go figure lol. The pod came with a bracket to secure the two gauges but it seemed to be specific to what Saleen would have used for gauges so I didn't use it. I wrapped my gauges with a couple loops of electrical tape and stuck some felt to the inside of the pod and snugged the gauges in so they are in there nice and tight. l.Here's what I did.

Here is the the finished product. I used the visors because of them being on top of the dash and being in the sun.

I also had some time to install my toggle switch for my Whipple fans :)
