Wow, I've been gone a little while. Congrats on the decision to go with Shelby America. Only thing bad with that is the wait time...
Thanks man. I am worried how I will be able (or not) to handle the wait. My car won't even go into production until the end of winter/spring.....

Got nothing better to do, so I am easily convinced to buy things to hold me over. That said, I absolutely love this thing.

Got theses beauties made for my car. I can not understand why Ford does not include them in the carbon fiber package. To me, the dash trim is not complete unless all the pieces match.

As you can see..... it's just incomplete without them. Plus, they will tie in beautifully with my Beith steering wheel & carbon fiber bezels.

I had it made from someone on FakeBook. He makes all types, Marines, Air Force, Sports related, etc.

I asked specifically for the "thin red line" version of the flag, and supplied him the with the new cobra logo (thanks @kilobravo ).

I will see if there is a link that I can post here for people here that may be interested.

Got some other ideas pending too, but these were a must have. I meant to have them made a long time ago but never remembered.

Today I met up with @Davesvt2000 and took off his hands this OEM rear seat delete which was removed from a GT350R. I could not pass up the opportunity to grab this, seeing how it was only within 1 hour drive from me. These are highly sought after, and rare so I figured why not?

Always great to meet a forum member, thanks Dave!

So is the GT350R's seat delete the same as the CFTP GT500 seat delete? Interesting if they are, means there are more deletes in the market now.

I am so excited to have finally received my UPR catch can for my car. There is no other oil catch system I will ever use on my vehicles. UPR Joe has been there for me so many times with my last few mustangs, and I am ecstatic to finally have one for my GT500.

When I was building my first Whippled S550, only UPR was able to successfully keep oil out of my blower. If you have not seen, or used one of these, check this bad boy system out. Pictures do not do the craftsmanship of this system ANY justice, everything about this kit is top notch engineering.

Besides how great this catch can system works, I really like how it places the can forward of the engine, remote from the majority of the heat, and neatly tucked away. It has a large capacity holding tank, and takes all of 30 seconds to remove from the car to drain.

The OEM setup is pretty convenient in the way it self drains, but it sits directly on top of the engine absorbing heat, and causes spark plug changes and other maintenance to be much more tedious, because it has to be removed first.

Another plus for guys like me who like to use cam covers is the passenger side isn't blocked from view. With this setup you really can have the best of both worlds, a top of the line oil catch system, and a visually pleasing engine. Yup, some of us care about these things.

Another great thing with UPR, is they made an ingenious clean side filter as well. The is the epitome of plug and play as well.

Unfortunately I do not have possession of my car to show you installed pictures, so I have included some pictures directly from UPR's website. This will be the first thing I install on my car once I get her home, that's for sure!

Sheeeeeeee's back! Paint protection film and ceramic coat came out amazing, I am extremely happy to have it completed. The 50 miles I did today netted about a dozen rocks on the rocker panels and some crap on the rear quarters in front of the tires. Feels good to know she's protected.

What an amazing ride home today. The sky got cloudy, but I was able to get home, and a little blast around town with the wife before any rain fell.

Thanks.

I got my car in December 2019 and had them on order before I got the car, so it was before the virus shut down the world. If I were you I would just go to your local registry and order one there in person.

I have been working for the past couple months with a really great guy, who makes custom strut tower covers. I was going to wait until they were 100% done, but the (hopefully) final test set is on its way to me, and the pictures are too good not to share.

This one was the first test fit.

These are the latest ones on the way to me
