So I don't have a baseline dyno number for my car which would have been awesome but lets see whats she's got anyways. Going in Friday for a performance evaluation so basically going to datalog the car on the dyno and if there is room for improvement. Which my guess is there is room for improvement.

Any guesses on what its going to put down with the Bama tune? With the dyno tune? Car will be on a Dynojet if that helps.

Goal is 435 RW but that is probably unrealistic with the auto.

Consider this your baseline. While the car is on the dyno get some datalogs and send them to Bama for revision. Also if you are thinking about a different tuner in the future you can send them the same logs and they will get you a more custom tune right from the beginning.

Well I am...;)

My guess is you will be right where your thinking since you are on a dynojet.
I had long tubes, off-road pipe, Airaid CAI, Bama 93r tune on mine when I did the numbers below on a non-Dynojet dyno.

My bama tune has been datalogged on the street and tweaked about 6 times before the headers where installed. Had them tweak the tune for the headers but feel like I lost something.

The preheader tune feels stronger but still has rear 02 sensors on so I'm getting the engine light.

That's all you got from those mods? Man, I get my headers installed friday and just did a steed CAI and Lund tune. :( Procharger time?

It's not about what you put down on a dyno, it's what you do on the track/street, wherever it is you play. Dyno's are a tuning tool...that's it plain and simple. I have seen dyno queens get their a$$ handed to them buy cars with"unimpressive" numbers. My base line below right off the showroom floor. I am very happy with the overall gains, just because its a stingy dyno doesn't mean the car doesn't perform.

Completely agree! There are so many variables. Your trap speed will be a better indication of your power.

WOW....look at the increase from stock to modded. Huge power gains under the curve and peak, too. I bet it drives and pulls like a completely different car:headbang:

quoted this to show stock vs modded comparison.

It does, no comparison. Will be doing again this spring. Adding the new Edelbrock intake (whenever they release it) and a Prochager (already have).

Ok, Dyno is done. The bad, numbers are lower than I hoped. The good, I discovered a few issues with my setup and the tuner thinks there is more power to be gained. :headbang:

We didn't tune the car today because of the Stainless Works longtube headers the forward 02 sensor location. Basically they are two far forward and are only reading two banks. The tuner was concerned about getting an accurate wide band reading with this location. I'm going to weld in some new bungs in right before the cats no big deal I work for a welding company. (This is all greek to me but makes sense and easy for me to mod.)

My second issue which has been going on since I first tuned the car has been the knock sensors going off and pulling timing out. I have datalogged the hell of this car with Bama and pretty much was the primary reason for wanting to dyno tune the car in the first place. After the dyno I was done snooping around looking for things that could be causing false knock. Grabbed my passenger side muffler and bumped the tip with my fist and heard a rattle. Long story short I have something loose in the muffler contacted borla and have the warranty process underway. :headbonk:

Ok I'm sure you want the numbers. I'll post a pic if I can figure out how to embed it but she put down 396.33/362.48 1st run, 389.57/358.69 2nd run, and 396.28/368.74 3rd run. All runs were done in 4th gear. This is an auto of course.

Your tubes are probably making contact with the a/c braket.
