Or you could stick to what you know, paint. That is a horrible analogy as they aren't even remotely the same thing. Plenty of other companies with warranties doing just fine boosting stock coyotes. Overall the failure rate is very low as it seems. The issue I'm having is Livernois sells that one...
Livernois sells this inferior package on the basis of reliability and safety compared to other kits on the market. Then it blows up and they want more money? I’m sorry but if it’s your build and your tune, you should accept some sort of liability. Stand by your product.
I argued that with them as well. Mechanically they are very simple and almost identical internally. Should just need a seal and bearing upgrade. Maybe have to delete the slinger. I do not see the issue with identical step up ratios.

I think they may have a little more insight. I've been meaning to talk to them about modifying the sl. Worth a shot
If you wont ever exceed 700 the RST might be fine. However anything north of 750 and she will spin and smoke. So I honestly have no clue how long it would even last at lower levels.
I've been generally hoping it's not the case as well. However based on the last couple years and countless threads it looks bad. I feel bad for everyone who has gotten the run around. Wish mods would just kick these guys already. Sucks seeing this all the time.
In my opinion it's an amature ponzi scheme. Old customers don't get their kits till new ones are on the hook. At least it looks that way. They are hemorrhaging money and it's quite apparent. No one has that much misfortune consistently. The endless excuses are just a cover for garbage business...
He's 100% correct, as Im currently in the same boat. I want a JT-B or YSI-B now and thought high 600 wheel would be fine. Could never see myself wanting anything more. Well my car put down 686 on the 3.6 on 93. That was awesome and no lie, I was stoked. A month later and she made 770 spinning...
I'm not calling you a liar. Just think they are pushing head units on people. The volute is the same and the gear case looks identical as well. It even has the provisions to add the oil feed easily. So even if it had a different gear or step up ratio, it might use the same case. Only thing left...
I understand what you are saying but as someone who actually works on centrifugal pumps for a living I disagree. Theres really not too much differences between the two. At least as far as I can tell to warrant a complete design change between oil fed and self lubricated. Pretty sure I'll go with...
