Bama vs. Steeda 17 GT Dyno Pulls

I'll start off by saying I was quite surprised with the results.

Bama 93 Race - Tune 1 maxed at 401whp / 391tq
Run 2: 391whp / 386.5tq

Steeda 93 - Tune 2 maxed at 412whp / 395tq
Run 2: 409whp / 390tq

Fifth gear pulls.
Car was warmed up to operating temp all 4 runs

Both email tunes, none datalogged and sent back for revision, yet.

Mods: Steeda Cai and Ford x pipe
Bunch of BMR suspension parts
Stock cats and mufflers

How many miles driven on each before dyno pulls?

Tune 1 had roughly 20 miles* on it, maybe a few more. Tune 2 was reflashed sitting on the dyno.

Steeda Tune & CAI is killer! I don't think they'll do too much data logging since Steeda is confident with what they pt out.

I agree, but they did say they would be more than happy to look at it. Why not give it a shot.

Also what did your car dyno stock?

This dyno is unfortunately my only dyno, that's why I ran both tunes. I'll keep you posted on the data logs. I did two, one for Bama and one for Steeda.

Is 395 tq high for the mods I am currently running? I am seeing a lot lower dyno numbers on other members with more "power adders". Granted, it doesn't look like I can pull 7000+ and make power.

Guess it depends on dyno and what you start at though

I can see 422 easy being dyno/street tuned. I'm happy with the 412 via email tune for now
