Shop labor seems rather steep considering you're in Kansas instead of metro DC/Chicago/Houston.
My experience is good shops in lower density population areas tend to be expensive. They don't have any competition.

Your paying roughly 3200 in parts and taxes. So it doesnt seem outrageous to pay 2k in install costs.

$1350 for a tune seems a bit steep, why the double charge for "tuning"?

Everything else seems OK.

In my area the exhaust work labor charge is stupid high. As for the rest I am unsure if it is a good deal vs bad deal.

It seems fair considering I know about the header installation and that price is fair. I would only question as mentioned the draining of fuel and tuning. If it was me I wouldn't think its that outrageous. Go for it man. YOLO

There are a number of us on here that can help you with decisions... I'm trying to figure out what your end goal is. Are you going to terrorize other drivers on the streets? Are you going to the drag strip? Are you going to the road course? Is it just for the Lulz?

Check the building roof for flags… I’m sure there’s a skull and x bones flying on that roof 😳 last price I got on a LT header install was $600 labor only

Why touch the fuel system? Inj on gen2 is more than enough na for e85. Gen3 even more so. Grab a set of lu47 and watch a YouTube video to install yourself.

Headers are $600 to install in dfw last I was quoted a year or two back. Bought a welder and taught myself to get the exhaust/test pipes how I wanted in the end.

I'd be considering entry level centri or other blower kit for that price range. Buy some tools, harras some buds and install yourself. Best thing is you're investing in yourself. The benefit of having a bit of experience plus tools is net positive the very next time you need to pop the hood and avoid bringing back to a shop. Attention to detail and a bit of courage and common sense go a long way.

Just as a point of reference, very similar mods on a Porsche 997.2 (excluding the E85 work but with a new CAI) cost over $9000.

bud are you defective? I should have known you had some issues the second you stated there's no such thing as fair pricing lol if you have nothing to contribute to the discussion, feel free to quit commenting.

Fuck me for trying to see if the pricing is consistent with what other people are paying.
What he was getting at and you are not understanding, is The cost for the work in Say Cali, or New York, or any high cost of living area will be different than boone town USA. So what others pay doesn't matter, as the local factors dictate the pricing So unless you are willing to travel to have it done. or open to other local to you shop doing it. What they quoted is what it is.
Yes others can post what they paid, but it will not mean anything unless you call where they had it done and get a better quote and then travel to have it done, then after fuel, time, and all that it might be a wash or cost even more.
It be different if you had more than one local shop that you would trust your vehicle with. But that does not sound like the case.

considering how many people have done LTH and regretted it because of the obnoxious noise, I'd ask myself why. If you're not going to FI then I wouldn't do the mods at all.

If your E85 is plentiful and cheap, and if the stock pump can't keep up (really? for NA?) then forget the BAP and just replace the pump+hat with one with a check-valve equipped bigger unit from the usual suspects.

Shop labor seems rather steep considering you're in Kansas instead of metro DC/Chicago/Houston.
When you are the only game in the area woth a damn you get to charge what you want.
Even more so if you have a waiting list.
