The dealer is only legally required to notify potential buyers of the vehicles past, not the salability of the vehicle going forward. Caveat Emptor comes to mind here.
It is my understanding that you cannot just walk in the dealership and order/buy one. It is a by invitation only car. You need two things a huge bank account and insider access. Youtubers need not apply.
In my state as in many when you buy a used car it is automatically understood the sale is "As Is". Regardless of whether it says so or not. Caveat Emptor.
Generally make and appointment with your insurance to retrieve personal property inside the car. Generaly most insurance will NOT ALLOW you to remove parts unless you want to buy them back at a price they set. The crash will be reported to CLU and everybody in the industry with access will know.
