Are they a good shop? That's kind of loaded. What is your expectations? Make sure you set those first, from communication to product quality to documentation.

I'm really happy with my RPG engine. It's only been through a few events, and it's felt great. Lots of power, clear attention to detail, and RPG is well versed in the coyote. I called probably a dozen times before pulling the trigger, and Will was very knowledgeable. He also was very clear in explaining what id get, what I should upgrade, and what could carry over from my stock motor. Which I upgraded almost everything, but they definitely work with you to build you what you want. If you're going with the short block, I'd imagine it's much more canned, but you are going to get a solid product.

If you want them to update you constantly on progress, you're probably going to be let down. If I had a complaint, I'd say it's communication. But I knew that going in, and so I wasn't totally surprised by it.

All in all, I'd recommend them. Feel free to dm me if you have any specific questions.

I'll start this by saying Will is a very nice guy and I think his intentions are well-placed. With that being said, RPG has had my engine for a year to diagnose and fix a cracked head. The cracked head was pre-existing when I bought it we discovered. He took it back, no questions asked which I was happy about. However, I have three unanswered emails since August just wondering what the status is. I also had to start a new contract form from the website earlier this year to get a response to the thread I already had going with them.

I'm not one of those guys that calls and emails every week to bother someone who has only been a good guy to me. I give him about a month and a half to two months between emails. The few times I tried by phone I was unable to get through. The engine has been there since September of last year. I've fully given up on when I'll get it back, but I will be selling it as soon as it is. I have buy once, cry once motor from MPR on the way as of last week.

Based on this I, personally, would not recommend them. But if you want a sleeved Voodoo motor at some point in the future for 12k instead of just the block, now you know a guy lol
