Voodoo/flat plane SB is next . Stock /Mahle pistons /voodoo specific Manley rods (same as in alluminator)
long block will also be completed with stock GT 350 heads /cams/valve spring upgrade /GT 350 R phasers /heavy duty secondary chain .


Billet OPG/ CS in both of course .
I will also be doing coolant and oil cross over lines on both .

Lawd .. I think I may have a problem !

its become a bit of an obsession but I decided I was going to keep at least a spare long block for each car . I have 2 15’s (each one has a built motor in it now ), an 18(still stock motor ) and a GT 350 (also built motor and it gets two spares ... because it’s special🤩).

More recently I picked up a couple of fox body rollers to swap so each one will get an engine (and a spare ) .
I am little obsessed with “5.2”s so both 15’s currently have one (and a 5.2 spare).

The fox bodies will get their own “5.2 “ and spare .... one may get a Gen 3 (with 10r80 ) and the other a Gen 2 (6r80 or TH400)

The 18 has a “spare “ built 5.0 (but I may end up using one of the 5.2’s. so she does not feel left out lol) .

Not sure what I will do the stock long block in the 18 now but it will probably get built at some point if I don’t sell it.
I will also end up with another stock Gen 3 SB - I bought the long block cheap to build but ended up getting a new SB to use with the heads .
not sure what I will do with it either- may sell or build it too .I have a “spare “ set of Gen 2 heads I may throw on it for a “Frankenstein “ build .

Yeah ... I know thats a lot of engines but I know I will never end up being down for the season if I lose a motor .
best case scenario I never use them , and if I sell the cars I can offer them as “warranty “ ...... or start my one retail engine shop ... no waiting in builds !

Perfect for any S550.
Depends on the year. Gen3s will have issues with heads. Also, the predator cams use a different reluctor wheel so they may not work with earlier ECUs.

“Gen 2” Voodoo short block(flat plane ) is done and starting on long block assembly . Mahle pistons (stock voodoo) and Manley H rods . GT500 head gaskets and ARP head studs (long 12 mm).
