I recall Ford acknowledging an issue with the earlier screens. Contact them?

I'm having my second bad cluster replaced under warranty. Like $4,000 a pop. 2017 GT350R.
A huge reason I'm leary of the '24 car. Everything is electronic.
Currently dealing with a dead APIM in my '12 Edge. Car is 11/12 years old at this point and it's hard to find a replacement for under $500. Honestly it's hard to find a simple replacement. Most places want to sell you an upgrade to Sync 3 or 4 which are going for between $650 - $1500.
The car has hard buttons for the climate control but everything else either stops working or has very reduced function through the dash.

Agree. And that is why if the S650 cluster goes out, the owner is SOL, because EVERYTHING is tied into that clusterF.

it's one thing to go techy or digital, it's another when there is an issue and no way around if there is a complete failure that renders even the basics of an automobile useless.

This car has been a challenge. The motor was one of those oil eaters, so it had a total engine replacement at 6,500 miles. The first cluster started going black in 2021. Always in warm weather. Cool weather, it was fine. It's exciting at night when your entire panel goes black. Zero instrumentation. Now it is at Ford Marin County waiting for the computer, etc. I have to say Ford Marin has been great. No "gosh seems fine" stuff. It's not just the Mustang--seems to be all Ford vehicles. I'm a Toyota truck owner, which is flawless, so the Ford almost seems the bizarre stereotype you expect from American cars.

You can put some kapton tape on that connector to keep it from happening again. I've seen laptop OEMs employ that stuff for these ribbon connectors.
