iPhone 7 Plus and Sync3 compatibility?

Hello guys,
I just got an iPhone 7 plus after 8 years of being with samsung. Anyways, everything works ok but i cant see any mobile apps like Pandora, Spotify, etc. The only app I see is Sirius Travel. When i go to the menu to update apps it saying updating forever (30+ mins) and it doesnt do anything. I also cant see my txt msgs.
Any ideas? Anyone having the same issues?

IF you do not have a 17 then you do not have CarPlay. Without it there are a very limited number of apps that work.

My super old Note 4 had apps i could use.

Plug it in to one of the usb ports and try it again.

Hey JuRuKi,

When using the AppLink feature, iPhones must be connected through Bluetooth and USB. Also, the text message feature must be turned on in the iPhone. To do so, go to the Bluetooth settings of the iPhone. Press the blue "i" to the right of SYNC and make sure SHOW NOTIFICATIONS is swiped On. Make sure to use the USB port in the center console.

I had very similar behavior (wouldn't update and would just sit there forever) using the front USB ports. Plugged it into the center console one, and all worked as it should.

No, actually INSIDE the center console. Between the seats inside the storage compartment.

Try a different USB cord. you could have a bad one.
