Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself since I will be lurking and perhaps asking a few questions . Name is Hector. I'm in the Boston Ma area. Just sold my Yamaha R1 and a Yamaha r6 I had gotten for my girl to ride (she wasn't really using it so I sold it also) and decided to pick up a DIB S550 PP. First order of business is to get an exhaust for this thing, it's way too quiet! Well, can't wait to check out everyone's ride!

First Time Mustang Owner

Hey I'm Jacob.
This is my first Mustang. 2015 Mustang Guard V6 Automatic. I came from a Jeep Wrangler so I'm from a totally different world but I have had sport cars in the past. (2000 Pontiac firebird and 83 camaro). Always loved the 60's-70's Mustang but lost interest until the new body style came out. The 2015 was a Gorgeous machine. I couldn't afford a GT and wasn't sold on the 4 banger so the 6 came natural to me. The color is Guard and it has the upgraded package, wheels and such. I'm definitely interested in a supercharger and at least a Roush exhaust. I also want to upgrade with component speakers and a sub since Ford had no love in the V6 stereo. Love my pony! So much fun to drive and it is the fastest car I've owned. Second was my first car, a 83 camaro with a 305 small block. You can see pics on my profile. :first:

New Member - 2016 on Order

Hi, I've been reading the mustang6g forums for quite a while and finally thought I should become a member. My first Mustang was a 1969 Mach I with a 351W which I gave up when I was about to get married. I currently drive a red 2006 GT convertible which I purchased new to replace my white 1998 Cobra convertible also purchased new. I have had a magnetic 2016 GT convertible on order since the end of May and I can't wait to take delivery.
The last two Mustangs I owned had 305 and 300 horsepower respectively so it will be quite a change to get one with 435.

Did I mention that I favor the convertible models? After that first Mach I, I decided all my future Mustangs would be convertibles.

Sup forum peoples, Kevin here, dropping by to say hey. Seems to be a pretty active mustang forum so I thought I'd make an account here to learn some, pass a lot of time, and check out some cool stuff y'all are doing to yours.

Short background, used to have a 1986 F150 with the 302, upgraded to a 2005 F150 SCrew Lariat, traded that in for a 2013 GT with track pack and recaros, sold it for my current 2007 F250 (completely stock ;) ), now I'm stationed in Italy and have decided to sell the old hag for a 2016 GT PP w/nav and 401A (US SPEC). The wait is going to be killer, they haven't even started building the 16 MY yet, and they have to ship it over here.

New GT for an old Mustang Guy

Been lurking on the forum for a while as we were making up our mind to trade our 05 GT that we bought new 10 years ago for a 2015. I have had many Mustangs from age 17 (65 now) and drag raced for many decades. Also my Son and Daughter have Mustang fever they drive and drag race also,:clap2: it`s our family hobby. Last Thursday we got our 2015 RR GT auto and love it! First mod is going to Cat Back exhaust can`t wait to hear a little more rumble:cheers:

New mustang6g member. On July 6 I ordered a white '16 GT Premium convertible with performance package, nickel painted wheels, 401A, nav, adaptive cruise, and reverse assist. Have not received build and delivery dates or VIN yet. Should hear in the next week or so. '16 builds start 8/3. Leaning towards installing a FRPP Touring cat back system when car is delivered; have been looking at relevant posts. Previous Mustang was a '08 GT Premium 5 sp with FRPP CAI/tune, x-pipe, and FRPP 50 state axle backs.

I'm Thor from the south of Germany.

Actually I haven't been looking for a new car since I'm still really satisfied with my 11 year old Mazda RX 8, but when I saw the new Mustang early in May in a TV-add I really was blown away :love:. Two weeks later I've ordered my Mustang convertible (2.3l Ecoboost, Magnetic). Now I have to wait until the car will be delivered and unfortunately there isn't any hint when this will happen . Maybee it will be delivered as Xmas-gift .
