Hi all,

Just got a 2019 Mustang Bullitt US model 2 weeks ago. Living in Europe, and already managed to set the radio to EU frequencies and get the EU navigation maps in Sync3. The car has only 20000 miles on it so not much I will have to work on.

I do still have 2 Ford Probes (1997 GT/24v and 1995 SE/16v) of which one I still use as a daily driver. Always worked on them myself and I guess for the Mustang will be the same.

This forum seems very useful with a lot of interesting posts!

Sincerely,

Wim
Post some pictures of the Probes. I always wanted one when I was a kid.

Ford was going to replace the Mustang with the Probe.

Here you go!

That is the 1997 Probe GT/24V. Original 2.5 V6 engine with 460000 km and still little oil consumption. And the Mustang Bullitt as well.

Very nice. Rarely see them anymore. I always check them out when I'm at Ford Nationals which is actually coming up in a few weeks.

Yes, indeed they thought about that but just good it stayed just a Probe. I did always also wanted the own a real Mustang so at least now I got that. But the Mustang is just for the summer, the winter my Probe will still get me everywhere. But for sure the Mustang is of a different category! The other Probe is also still running but stowed away in a dry place... 👌👍🙏😇

Thanks for the pics, great ride. We miss our 1997 Probe GT, as though we lost a family pet. :(

Hello All,

I just joined the forum, but have been lerking and reading daily for the past two years. In 2022, I bought a used 2020 Shadow Black Mustang GT PP1 w/ a manual transmission and the Show Stopper Red interior. I had a 2003 V6 Mustang with a manual transmission that I traded in on my first Edge in 2010. I always said I would get another manual Mustang and it would be a GT.

I decided it was time to make that happen in late 2021 and started looking. Never intended to get the PP package, but so glad I did now! It is just a fun car to drive! Now I am finally starting to buy some simple upgrades, so it was time to join.

Looking forward to learning more from the community here!

New here bought my ecoboost day after xmas . Hasn’t been a smooth transaction lol but i still love the car . But constantly fixing the dam thing. Now im working on making it look like what i want it to look like just gotta get it painted. Some may recognize the car as i found pics of it here from original owner . So far i had to replace all the calipers and rotors and pads . Rear hubs . Had a horrible rear end noise but went away once i changed dif fluid and added friction additive . The mishimoto radiator sprung a leak and i had to buy a new one . While changing out the hood I found a oil leak and found the oil pan was repaired with jb weld . Which actually lead me to this forum and lead me to finding the post of this car with the original owner actually having the oil pan issue and the jb weld fix . Seems like it held for two yrs now leaks a bit .

Had this for about two years now, but finally made an account on the forum after lurking for so long.

Picked up this manual, '15 GT 50th anniversary appearance trim (PP AND premium stuff) with Borla S-Type catback and x-pipe already installed (amazing tone). Only been maintaining and upgrading suspension bits slowly but surely before adding any power. Currently has FP track handling suspension kit, front camber plates, and vert links; lots of bushings and other goodies being installed in the next couple weeks to add some confidence to the rear. Recently swapped the ugly chrome lined rear tails for 2018+ style euro tails, and blacked out badges which drastically improved the look. Lots of compliments on having clean, simple styling. See lots of these with rear spoilers/wings, but for some reason the lack-of resonates more with me.

After a few turbo 4 bangers, it's fun having a v8.

Hello friends,

greetings from Denmark. I was introduced to American cars in 2016 after fantastic holidays in Gods own country. Since had two Cadillac CTS - last one was a fine wagon.
I’m saving my CTS wagon in a garage as it is still in mint condition and was looking for a CTS-V or a Camaro as a daily driver. But because they would be import cars to Denmark taxation would be really high. However, Ford markets the Mustang lineup in Denmark and got somehow a very aggressive pricing. After a test ride I was completely sold. I’m now owner of a pristine 2020 Mustang GT Vert. with Premium and Performance 1 package.
I’m getting it in two weeks.
Looking forward to the membership.
It will be my first V8 car and my first vert.
Will be looking out for maintenance tips on the top clothing and general info on the power train. Not least the 10-speed auto.
