Hello everyone! My name is Jim. I've been in the Mustang scene for almost 20 years now, and loved them since i was a kid. There is just something about a Mustang that you cannot explain, only feel. Its also great to finally find a Mustang forum that isnt centered around Facebook. I was a member of Corral for a long time and loved the community. I'm looking forward to spending a lot of time here. Hopefully it is as active as it looks!

As far as my history, I've had 4 Mustangs personally (1988 GT, 2001 GT, 2011 GT). And now my 2019 GT Performance Pack 1 in beautiful Kona Blue. I've known a lot of people who have done mild to wild builds, but these days i'm mostly about cruising and refinement. I got tired of the whole off-road ear bleeding exhaust, drivability that rivals a shopping cart, and no creature comforts. Its absolutely incredible to see how far Mustangs have come in even 10 years, where you can have a bone stock full weight car loaded with all the creature comforts that is running high 11s on a good pass. What more can you really ask for!

As far as my current Mustang, I traded in my 99k mile bolt on 6 speed 2011 GT that i bought used and stock with 67k miles 4 years ago. It was my daily driver, but i made the mistake of driving an S550 at work, and I was simply blown away at the difference between platforms. Braking, Acceleration, Cornering, Refinement, Tech.. the S550 had it all. And no disrespect to the S197, but i truly believe it is the last of the true 'muscle car' Mustang. It has some refinement, but deep down it still has that pedigree of being a 'Mustang". The S550s, are more of a sport-touring car now. The difference between interiors is simple mind-boggling. Dare i say it, but the latest S550s rival an M series in most aspects.

As far as the other mustangs, I bought a 2001 GT brand new out of high-school with money i had saved up.. but it was not a smart decision. Being 19 and not too financially secure - I found out it was more than i could afford and made the smart decision in returning it. I think i put 6,000 miles on it in the short time i had it.

After that, I bought the '88GT 5 speed for $5k in late 2001. It was bone-stock down to the air silencer with 75k miles on it. I drove that until 2009 when i was forced to part with it. It had a little over 120k on it at that point. It was a baby-bolt on car (ported E7 heads/intake, full exhaust, under drive pullies, 1.7 rockers...etc). It was a high 13 car at best - but being in my early 20s - it was fast to me.

After that, i disappeared from the Mustang scene for awhile, as the recession of '09 hit me hard. It wasn't until early 2016 that i bought my 2011 GT. Absolutely loved this car. It was my daily driver, mid 12 second car with bolt-ons and a great cruiser... I thought... Until i drove an S550 and it changed my world.

Bringing us to today.. 2 weeks ago Tuesday I picked up a 2019 GT performance pack 1 - Kona blue - 10R80 (my first auto.. i still cant believe i did it.. so far not regretting it!), It has every option aside from magna-ride (it took me a LONG time to find the options i wanted in this color.. and i had originally opted for the manual - but the first one i found was the auto - and having driven the auto - i was impressed with how well it performed.. so that is what i went with.)

Enough with the history.. i've typed too much already.. Anyway, here she is! I look forward to seeing you all around.

I have the same ride (2019 GT/Kona Blue/PP1/A10/Active exhaust) in fastback edition (love the cloth seats) with Magna ride suspension (which is awesome!!). First Mustang and I'm blown away by it's performance!! I daily drive it and have two (2) sets of dedicated wheels. Currently driving on my winter setup (Boss 302s w/Pirelli Sotozero II's). I used to drive BMWs...I'll probably never be back unless I can afford an M4 one day.

Hey All,
My Name is Dayne.
I'm picking up my first mustang this friday. 2019 Magnetic Metallic GT PP.
My primary vehicle right now is an 08 F350 6.4. Mustangs have always been apart of my family,
I'm just not sure why I waited until now to get one. For work I'm a CAD designer working mainly with Solidworks and fusion 360.
I do alot of 3d printing at home and I'm hoping to find some things to make for my car as well in due time. I have printers for both FDM and Resin.

I've helped my father swap a 2012 'yote into his 1970 Mach1 and have always been mechanically handy. I hope to be able to build my car here in the near future.

deadlydayne, I'd like to see pictures of your father's Mach1 with the swap. That just sounds wicked. Of course a picture of your GT would be good too.

If it’s off the lift when I stop by tonight I’ll snag some pics. He throws it up on a lift every winter and works on it all throughout to get it ready for spring.

Ladies and Gents, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Victor, 31 from Miami Florida. I was in the market for a new car and was looking for something rwd(cant believe it took me this long to get a rwd). I narrowed it down to a 19 GT PP, a Camaro SS1. I barely fit in the Camaro and its just too bulky. I will say, i honestly had my eyes set on the mustang for a bit so last sunday i bit the bullet and purchased a 19 GT PP. Its a manual and i love it. Ive put 600 miles on it and love every second of if. Im giving it a little bit of time before i give do some big mods. Dont want to deal with warranty issues. Hopefully ill be learning alot about this platform and about the community.

Hello everyone. Robert here from Louisiana, United States. Just got a 2019 and traded in my 2011. As you can see the 2011 went through quite a few changes in the 9 years I had it. So far i'm loving the new one.

I'm Alex from Sydney. Bought my 2018 10-speed as a dealer demo loaded with Recaros, magneride, OE forged wheels and blue vinyl stripes. I've had it lowered on a Whiteline Grip Kit. I have done a few very minor cosmetic things to "make it mine" and have plenty of stuff on order to continue in that fashion.

My name is Matt. When I was younger my father was into mustangs and I was too. Then I got into classic BMW’s... I test drove a ‘17 GT when I was out looking at a 2011 Roush Mustang for a “toy” and ended up getting a 2018 Mustang PP1. I bought the 6-speed in spite of the 10R80 hype and I absolutely love it.

I’ve had the car for about a year, put every mile besides 80 of them and just opened the doors to modifications with a Roush CAI, Lund 93 tune and a Roush h-pipe resonator delete. Planning to go e85 this year, we’ll see.

Any tips for an N/A build and experiences, feel free to hit me up.
