I've had a new left over 2017 eco boost for about a month now and have been lurking on this forum for awhile. Good forum. Purchased car for daily driver, expect 25K miles per year

New Guy Here from Michigan

This Randall. I'm a ex Mustang guy 87 Notchback and I just ordered a 2019.

I was originally going to send it to Roush as well, but here are latests thoughts:

2019 Mustang
Orange Fury
Manual
401A
PP2
Active Exhaust
B&O

I have a short dirt road to my sub.

XPEL all lower rockers and front
Ceramic Pro over the whole car and over xpel, wheels, calipers
Black emblems
MMD V series spoiler...maybe
black roof...maybe
Race stripe....maybe

Decided not to Roush the car to save some money.
Dealer is going to install Supercharger and half shafts.

Well that's it. Just waiting for a date now.

Randall

I’m thinking of not doing a full Roush package. My dealer is a Roush dealer so they can just install of the roush charger. Save about 3k and no gas guzzler tax.

Hi all, just bought a new 2017 GT convertible, manual, pp. Haven't picked it up yet and have already managed to spend lots in parts. Diode dynamic lights, blacked out 5.0, GT emblems and Roush X pipe. Love the forum. Thanks.

Congrats! You are going to love the S550 platform. I had a coupe and switched to a convertible. They are really solid and a lot of fun to drive.

Just picked up a clean 2015 GT Premium Convertible with the 50th anniversary assistance package here in central Florida. Absolutely beautiful car, and a blast to drive. Very different coming from a 2.0 Turbo all wheel drive set up in my previous car.

Hello from AZ!

We recently picked up a '17 GT PP for my wife's DD. Not my first rodeo, as my first Mustang (and the first car I bought new) was an '89 LX 5.0 Hatch. Had lots of good times in that car back in the day!

Also had a '98 GT, which was in many ways a much better car than the '89, but unfortunately, the 4.6 engine was utterly forgettable.

We took a test drive in a '16 GT Premium 'Vert a year ago, and I wasn't that impressed, but a drive in the '17 PP, and we were both hooked.

I've just made a few minor cosmetic mods so far, and the previous owner (it had 4500 miles when we bought it) was kind enough to install a nice cat back exhaust. Not planning to go crazy with mods, but it might get a few... ;)

My wife and I both enjoy HPDE, and we have a '92 Miata which is pretty heavily modded for track use.

It will remain our primary track car, but we're looking forward to getting the Mustang on track to try it out. With our event schedule, and the summer temps in AZ, it will probably be Fall before that happens. Time enough to save up for wheels and track rubber! :D
