Hey guys,

Been browsing this website for awhile and figured with the new reveal i'd finally join. Can't wait to get my hands on a 2015 mustang, have been really excited for awhile.

I currently drive a 2003 Lancer Evolution, picked it up in 08. While I love my awd turbo-4, I've decided i need some v8 power in my life. Planning on picking up a 2015 GT in the near future.

Really excited to see how their ecoboost motor does for a rwd application! Wont be surprised if its a hidden beast like the v6 ecoboosts are!

Not necessarily. I've had as many if not more. It's called being wasteful with money, or that's at least how my Mom and then my wife phrased it. Nice collection though, dontcha think?
I can relate. I'm 47 and I've owned 26 different cars in the last 15 years alone.

Good day.

I have ended up on this Mustang forum, because after reading through a few of them, I was impressed with the maturity and spelling capabilities of the users on here. Kidding... Sort of.

Never owned a Mustang before, but always considered getting one.
I am not a fanatic follower of any particular brand, but I do have a soft spot for powerful domestic cars.

My current toys are 2 GMs and a Mopar, but I have owned Fords before (and still do).
After seeing the 2015 hi res pics on Ford's homepage, it was love at first sight. I don't care if people see a resemblance of the Fusion. Heck, the Fusion looks like an Aston anyway, so worst case the new 'stang has got a bit of Aston in it ;)

The design speaks to me, and from what I have seen so far, it will do to the fox platform, what the C7 did to the previous Vettes. Make them look dated...

IF I end up getting a 2015, it will have to be spring of 2015, as I am currently out of the country for work and won't come back until winter of 2014, at which point there's no use to buy a toy before the snow hits.

Hoping to find a lot of info on here that can help me decide if the time has come for me to get Mustang :)

Very true about the maturity thing. That's one of the many reasons I hang out there.

I hope many of you new-to-Mustang guys end up buying. Always good talking to new members of the club, as it keeps my (old) heart into this passion of ours.

I will get a new toy spring of 2015. That much is clear...
The question is: What kind?
It's a great time to be in the market, because it seems every OEM is bringing their A game. :)
Always liked Mustangs, always thought about getting one (mainly a foxbody for road course work), but the 2015 might just end up being the first one.
With all the reading I've been doing on Coyote mods, I definitely see a lot of things I like :)

Hello all, Brew_WY here and probably about anywhere else you see that screen name. Been a Mustang fan my whole life and had always planned on picking up a '93 LX notch-back 5.0 and doing a twin-turbo kit on it. But when Ford brought the 5.0 back in 2011 I knew my plans had changed. I just was disappointed with the (then) interior options. The 2015 Mustang looks to have everything I always wanted out of the car and I hope to be placing one in the garage this fall. Now just to decide on a color.

Cheers,

Brew

Just stumbled across this site in the past few days so I thought I'd register after poking around a bit. Anyway, 23 years old in MD. I currently own a 2008 V6 mustang in Grabber Orange. Got it used with only 1100
miles on it in 2010. I wouldn't say I grew up in a "mustang" family or that any of my relatives ever owned a mustang, but once I saw one when I was like 5 I always wanted one.
Definitely looking forward to placing my order once the 2015 goes into production. I'm thinking I'll most likely pick one up in late spring/ early summer if possible. Not sure if I want to wait around for 2016 to see if they toss in Direct Injection or not.

A few pics below. Not sure why the previous owner plastered boss all over it, but I do enjoy the color scheme/stripes. I have yet to see another like it. Also it's not shown but the back window is heavily tinted, seriously I'm surprised I've never been pulled over for the level of tint that the guy before me put on it. Previous owner already had an aftermarket exhaust, CAI, and hurst shifter installed.

Hey everyone! Figured I would register on this site since I will be placing an order for a 2015 Mustang GT as soon as the order banks open.

I have owned 5 different Mustangs since 1990. They include a 1991 LX hatchback 5.0, 1996 Mustang GT, 1998 Mustang GT, 2001 Cobra Convertible and 2003 10th Anniversary Cobra. I used to post on all the big mustang boards (svtperformance.com, corral.net, themustangsource.com, etc) under Todd03Blown. I have been waiting with high expectations on this new Mustang and it has delivered in my eyes. In all the key areas, at least in my eyes this car is spot on. Exterior styling, brake systems, interior appearance, engine upgrades, etc, etc.

I hope they offer the 6pot calipers on the convertible along with the Recaro's but my guess is the Recaro's won't be an option. I want my vert optioned with everything as this will be my daily driver (although I only drive it about 6-7k a year). I also cannot wait to see the performance #'s on these new cars.

This is a great site! Looking forward to spending some quality time over here getting educated on this new generation of Mustang.

Happy Holidays to all!
Todd

Hello Everyone :)

My name is Juan and I have a 2002 GT that I have been driving for over 12 years as my daily driver. I still love the car after all these year but its finally time to upgrade for a new one. I plan to get a GT350 and learning all about the car as more information comes available.

I am not much of a car nut but I have loved the mustang since I can remember.

I enjoy reading the various insightful and intelligent posts from the members.

Decided to join

Evening....

Decided to join the forum as I am now a proud owner of my second GT , first one was a 2001 GT Convertible in sunburst gold. Had to say good by to the 2001 as the mileage began to creep up to around 110k so I stepped it up this year to the 2014 GT California Special 5.0 in Deep Impact Blue. Have to say really impressed with the new ride.

(Pictures are posted in my garage album on my profile... will add some better looks at the new ride as soon as I can)

Looking forward to the discussions...
