HGFireHazard- that is one awesome looking sn95. I always wanted a 94-98 GT. I almost pulled the trigger on one more than once.

Hi all, I'm Nick.

Been a stang fan since the early 90's and really excited to see what's coming next for 2015 as Im sure you guys are too. I have some friends that work in the industry and been trying to squeeze them for info. All they can say is they've heard it is a beautiful car. I'm trying to get more deets!

Hi, Bill here. 57. First new car was the 82 Merc I still own. Purchased an 86 F150 that I traded for a 95 F250 diesel that I also still own. Finally, bought a 2010 F150. Four Fords in 31 years and I still own three of them, and there was nothing wrong at all with the 86. The Fords have all been dead reliable for me -- the polar opposite of two GM 'vehicles' I've owned: '76 Monza (same as the infamous Vega for all intents and purposes) and '06 2500 Silverado. After the Silverado debacle, I will never buy GM again. Used Yugo's are more appealing.

My son and I are currently modifying, extensively, the Merc. Good times.

Keenly interested in the S550. I thought long and hard over the 2012-2013 Boss 302, but have decided to wait for the S550. Hoping Ford builds the rumored GT350.

Thed, I'm a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to computers, forums, and such. But I will try to post a couple-three pix. The car isn't going to look much like a Capri at this point. We reached the peak of deconstruction a couple weeks ago -- only things in/on the car were: doors (which are complete), hatch, hood, all glass, pedal assembly ... We now have the front suspension back in (all MM stuff), brake booster and MC, ... headliner ... and that's it I guess. The rear suspension is back in temporarily; it will come back out again for some welding to install a panhard bar and torque arm. I used to drag race it some back in the mid 80's. Looking to get it back to street legal, as well as play at the strip and AX.

Anyway, I'll try. Pix might be of poor quality compared to the level I commonly see on forums.

Thanks for the welcome -- I stumbled across this place a couple weeks ago or so, and find it informative and civil.

:)

I actually spent about six weeks late last year painting, cleaning, and organizing the garage. It was a sty then. The flooring is new and is PVC tile (Armor Tile). I really like it; much easier to keep clean than unsealed concrete (which I had). Believe me, I've had my fill of working on cars in the dirt, gravel, hay, etc. A clean working area makes things SO much more enjoyable.

Anyway, here are a few more pix.

If I'd known the garage would be such a hit, I would have taken pix of it and to h3ll w/ the car. :)

Thanks!

Hey I'm Thed! Some (if any) willl recognize me from Motor Trend and Car Fanatics Forums. I am 18 and about to enter college here in NC. I currently drive a 1996 Ford Ranger and she is my pride and joy (her name's DeLone and you shall address her as such :p ). But, she won't last forever. Nah just kidding, she could. But I have some plans for the old girl and before I start, I need a new DD. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in the market for a new car by the time the 2016 model years will be coming out. That way I can get a late 2015 for nothing. :D

I have been a fan of the almighty Pony since before I knew what it was, because there was something about those Foxbodies that just clicked with my six0year-old brain. For the most part I'm a traditionalist, my Mustang will be a RWD manual V8 coupe. Anything else will not be considered. Not even a convertible.

So yeah that's a breif intro from me.

Also, admin(s), I volunteer to be a moderator. :p
I can't believe it's already been a year!!! This place has grown SO MUCH since I made this thread. :clap2:
