Just picked this up last night! I was really surprised at how good the nickel PP wheels look with Race Red and could not be happier.

Just wanted to do a formal introduction. I am Ron, I am 53, and I am a Stangoholic. I live in the Atlanta area and have been into Mustangs since 1992. I have been lurking around here since June 10 when I traded in my Deep Impact Blue GT Premium Track Pack on a Competition Orange 16 GT Premium Performance Pack. The 16 is mustang number 5 for me. Here are some details on the current and past Mustangs:

As German you love of course American Cars haha… I had a 73 Impala in Germany.

As a ex Car Mechanic I always was into cars of course..

WOW! thanks for the journey through time... that was really cool that you were able to post pictures of each of your mustangs!.. The competition Orange looks fantastic. Love the look with the lowering springs.... is the lowering distance equal front to back or do i detect the front is lower? Also, did you do window tinting or is it just the lighting?

Hi Lorne,

I think the wheel gaps are just about the same front to back. The rear tires are about .4" taller than the rear and the wheel well edges are just under .5" higher above the floor in back than the front. I think it is more of an optical illusion that the front is lower. The dealer did the 35% (GA legal) tint and Xpel clear bra on the car on the lot before I bought it. I was happy to get it with both of these done, so I did not have to go out and get it done by someone else.

I picked mine up a few months ago... '16 RR GT/CS, gotta be the coolest looking car I've ever seen. Even though I'm sure everyone says that about their own particular car... I'm saying it again!
