Hey all,

My name is Ryan, picked up my 2016 Mustang GT with the PP on July 1st. Haven't done much; window tint, JLT intake, SCT x4 programmer. Next up will be long tubes and exhaust. I also bought a base model, so I will be looking into doing the MFT update over the factory 4" screen. This is my first Mustang and I absolutely love it. It is a blast to drive. I am also building a 1990 Mazda Miata with a single 88mm turbo LS, it has a Gforce 4 speed, and an 8.8 Ford IRS. I will post a couple pictures of it as well if anyone is interested. I picked the car up from powdercoat not to long ago and have been working on the wiring. I also have a 2015 Kawasaki ZX6R that I occasionally track.

The racecar looks like it'll be badass when done. I can see that your starting to work on the orange peel too. I learned car design from Tom Matano(among many others), the designer of the Miata. Pretty interesting dude.

Welcome! If I lived in that area I would definitely take you on a drive! As said, if you are not willing to work and sacrifice for it then it is not worth having. You unfortunately have to sacrifice and work harder than some others. Godspeed and hope you achieve your dreams!

Same here. I got a bit of tinnitus. Have you tried either of these? The ear muffs are low profile ear muffs that fold up, relatively compact. If something is too loud, just put these on, and they turn down the volume.

Sweet story! I read it out loud to my wife and she gave that face women give when they see bunnies and stuff. She said she wants to give you a hug and have you take a ride in my Mustang.

Really? Sorry to hear that. I always felt so alone with the sensitive ears thing. I wear earplugs because we could never afford the good quality noise cancelling headphones. Also I tend to get embarrassed about my sensitive ears, so my hair hides the earplugs lol! Thank you for the suggestions though. I should really check them out! I appreciate it!!

Hello all,

I'm new to the site, been lurking for a few weeks. Not new to the mustang. I've had a 92 coupe, 01 GT and now a 2016 GT. The difference between to '01 and the '16 are incredible !! My Dad and I are also in the process of building a 2000 GT race/street car. This one will be a weekend cruiser since I work out of town through the week. Mods so far are MBRP cat back and a Roush CAI kit. I would love to go twin turbo with this in the future

I’m Tim, and found this site to be a great resource when I started thinking about trading in my 2014 V-6 for my new 2016 GT premium (auto, nav, deep impact blue.) Lots of good information, friendly responses, and a sense of community. Info and comments on the site helped me to determine what options I wanted, and when the rebates/financing all fell into place.


A car enthusiast from way back, this is my fifth Mustang – others included 2001 GT Bullitt, 2010 GT, 2012 GT Brembo package, and the 2014 V-6. Not to mention 280ZX, Camaro Z/28 and RS, and a couple of BMWs. Still loving Mustangs, and at about 1,000 miles, this seems the best one yet!


I’m super happy with the car (daily driver, year-round with a 100 mile round trip commute). Just ordered a spare tire kit, and a strut bar will be next. Then comes snow tires and wheels for the nasty upstate NY winters to come!
