Just bought a 2016 Mustang GT with the track package last month. Been interested in the S550 after spending a weekend with a friends last year.

I'm a former BMW mechanic so I've had some BMWs, a Subaru WRX, Honda Civic Si, as well as an 01 and 07 Corvette and an 05 Pontiac GTO. This is my first Ford and I'm liking it so far.

I have been on for awhile trolling and realized I never introduced myself. I come from a long time Mustang family and finally talked the wife into letting me get my own. I love my 2015 (got a great deal on it in January) only have about 2K miles on it so far. Colorado weather limits my days I drive it. I have tinted the windows and the exhaust is next. I really enjoy all the info on here and look forward to being involved.

Hello all! Just got my new 2016 V6 mustang and I'm loving it. I've had two V-8 mustangs in the past (1991 LX 5.0 / 1999 Cobra) and never thought I would like the smaller engines, but surprise surprise. Maybe I'll go back to a V-8 in the future...:ford:

Hi guys! Just bought a 2015 V6 Convertible. I'm a long time convertible owner (NA, NB, and NC Miatas and an MR2 Spyder) but this is my first Mustang. Believe it or not I went to buy a 2014 base GT 'vert based on a positive experience I had renting a 2011 GT 'vert for my birthday weekend a few years back. Other than the engine I liked everything about the S550 better... the looks, the ride, the tech, and the handling. I'll be the first to say that it's nothing special at least when it comes to Mustangs. Unfortunately I couldn't afford an S550 GT 'vert but maybe someday. Until then, I'm going to enjoy a lot of sunny days in this one!
