Greetings, programs.
I've been reading the forum for months, but only just made an account. I fell in love with the s550 last year, and even my gf can't wait til I get one. I'm aiming for a 2016 GT Premium with PP, Premium interior, and Security package. I only have had one car, my Accord v6 coupe, and have previously had 2 different Honda CBR 600's. Actually, when I went to buy my first car in 2009, I was looking at an 01 Mustang v6, but it had sold already. I was sad at the time, but looking back, I'm glad because that car was a piece of crap. Anyways, I had been left curious about Mustangs since then, but was too broke/not impressed/busy with sport bikes to really consider one.
This represents a lot of firsts for me; 1st new car, 1st American car, 1st V8,1st manual, and 1st RWD!

Hi everyone!

I've been reading this forum for a few weeks in preparation for my order which was placed on Saturday for a GT Convertible in Competition Orange. This is a great group of enthusiasts and I found a lot of good info here. Looking forward to chatting with you all on the boards.

Hello, just picked up my new CO GT over here in Germany. Previous Mustang was a 2008 GT with the Paxton novi 2200, sold it in 2012 and had a Ram Sport. Well got orders back to Germany and the truck was a pain, so sold that and now enjoying the unrestricted autobahn.

Did you actually pick up a European version or is it from the U.S. and you had it shipped? I didn't think they were on sale over there yet.

Just curious, how much does it cost to ship a car over there? And to drive a US spec car in Germany do you have to have it modified at all?

Speaking as a person who used to be stationed in Germany while in the Army (in the 80s), typically the buyer doesn't have to arrange for shipping. There's a new-car buying service through the military. Sometimes, on some military installations, there's even a new car sales lot and, just like in the States, you can buy something off the lot or have them order something for you.

Exactly right, I did pay shipping for the car but I also didn't pay tax. No modifications with the car because of the Sofa Agreement with the host country (Germany). I bought it right on the small dealer lot on my base took about a week for customs to clear and off I drove. Only thing I have the long European license plates.

Interesting that you have the European plates; when I was there in the 80s the military issued standard-size plates. I can even remember my plate number from back then: ED7030.

When I had my 2008 GT over here I had the smaller plates as well in 2006. Well they try having us blend in due to the terrorist threats over here. Not sure how well it works. This all changed after the shootings at Frankfurt airport on some airmen in 2010 I believe. I had the USA symbol on my old plates, now they are the local plates same as the Germans.

Hi :headbang:

I'm Christy. I'm the sales & media rep for Lethal Performance.

The only 2015s I "have" are our 2 shop cars, but I myself have a 2013 GT with some goodies.

Nice to meet you all and hope to see you around.

Hi All!

Currently waiting on my Magnetic GT to arrive (hopefully mid April). I'm from Toronto and I'm very glad to see that the snow is finally melting away! Can't wait to have some fun this summer with my new beast.

I'm coming from a 2009 Mercedes c300 4Matic and was thoroughly impressed when I saw the interior of the new mustang. The fit and finish may not be quite up to the Mercedes level, however the look and feel of the interior is top notch! Overall the mustang interior comes out on top. I might miss the AWD capabilities of my Benz, but the fun factor of the mustang will make up for that tenfold!

Looking forward to getting to know some of you and participating in forum discussions!

Hello, my name is JJ and I've been clean for......sorry wrong forum.

First time Ford owner, but I think I started with the right one. I have a 2015 Mustang GT Premium auto. I will start a project thread to catch you all up and share some photos. Plans are I/E/T until the bumper to bumper runs out or my wife says otherwise. Then either Nitrous like my last setup or the new Vortech Blackout kit.

Here she sits day one, but a lot has changed already catch up in my build thread.

Yo! I'm Karl with Massive Speed. I dont currently own an S550 yet, but soon I'll be acquiring a 2.3 ecoboost car.

I do have both a 2013 Focus ST and a 2013 Escape with 2.0 Ecoboost, so I'm rather familiar with the powertrain. I've also got an 84 notch and a 90 vert Mustang, so I'm a pony owner too.

Besides those ones, I've also got 6 other Focus's, an 89 XR4Ti, a 63 Fairlane, an 82 Thunderbird and a 99 ZX2, so it's fair to say I'm a Ford nut.
I also have a 66 Suburban, an 01 Blazer Xtreme and an 05 Trailblazer tho, so I do get around a bit.

My company, Massive Speed, manufactures all kinds of engine, chassis and suspension parts for all kinds of Fords as well other makes.

I'm glad to be on board and excited to offer more to the community!!!

Here's a pic of the escape "ST":
