I posted a couple weeks ago that I had just bought a 2016 Base Magnetic GT PP, thought I'd share a photo like everyone else. I live in Louisville, KY but ended up buying it from Koons Ford in Baltimore. Just happened to be there for work anyways!

So far in the past 2 weeks I've done the following;
- Corsa Sport 3" catback with black tips
- Steeda Sport Progressive Springs
- Steeda IRS alignment bushings
- Steeda jacking rails
- Redline hood struts
- Whiteline trans insert
- Steeda Oil Separator
- Various other little stuff (black lugnuts, matte black grille pony, etc).

I also have a bone stock 1988 notchback LX, but it's being neglected recently...

Saying Hello

Hello all-

Thought I would stop by and introduce myself, say hi, etc... Been lurking and reading for a day or so and this is a really cool site and love the resources! Thanks in advance! Yesterday I bought a 2016 GT Premium, 400A, 6spd manual, magentic, black accent, nav, parking, etc... Bone stock, for now :-)

This is not my first rodeo with Mustangs. I've had a few before this:

2007 GT/CS, Black with a tan leather interior, stick, stock. Loved this car but had to sell a few years ago.

1996 Cobra, White, black leather, 5spd, 4.10 Gears, Steeda springs, Steeda Tri-ax Shifter with aluminum shift knob, Kenny Brown Caster/Camber plates, Kenny Brown Extreme Matrix sub-frame connectors (welded in), Hotchkis Upper and Lower control arms, K&N cold air intake, Flowmaster, Autometer Tach.

1986 GT- Black, gray cloth, 5spd, built for E-SP SoloII (originally, and then, well :-) - Saleen Springs, Steeda G-trac, Steeda sub frame connectors, trac kit, panhard rod, headers, flowmasters, E7TE heads (88gt), port matched intake to heads, plus a bunch more I'm sure I've forgotten.

Will dig up pics of past cars and edit post. But for now- here is the 16:

New to this site but been around Mustangs for a while. 1990 GT, 2001 Bullitt, 2015 GT/PP. Just had the FRPP/Roush Phase I Blower installed along with FRPP X-Pipe, FRPP Short Shifter, GT350R Steering wheel, JLT Oil Separator. Work was done by Paul's Automotive in Cincinnati, OH. Car put 587HP/476TQ on Paul's dyno.....very happy with the install and power.

Looks great! Are those 19" tires with the black accent package? The rears look a little bigger, but that might be an optical illusion...

2017 GT premium with PP

Hi guys! My name is Jim and I live in vacation land (Northern Nevada - Carson City with Lake Tahoe within a 15 minute drive). That being said, since I love a spirited drive now and then up the many twisty canyon roads that surround the Tahoe Basin, it would have been foolish of me to have purchased anything but the PP with track mode that comes with the premium (400A) package. It took me quite a while to find a GT with only NAV and PP, but I found this 2017 Race Red GT within hours of it being unloaded off the car hauler at the Fairfield, CA ford dealership, on July 12th. The odometer read a mere 4 miles. The 4 hour drive down there was well worth it. This past weekend I finally reached 1,000 miles and ran her up on my Rhino Ramps and did the oil and filter change deed. I'm quite anal and OCD about my toys and since I'm an old retired guy, my new ride will never see anything but the inside of my garage when I'm not out carving canyons with my other performance minded car enthusiast buddies.
I have learned a lot from the wealth of information on this site and have spent hours scanning the threads playing catch up!
Have fun out there guys, but be careful and drive safely!

I drove from the Bay area to Sacramento to Reno once. Its definitely beautiful up there. Too bad I had to do it in a Nissan Altima!

Just got my GT last night, I've been lurking for a while, finally got to be the proud owner of a s550. Had my mind set on a darker color manual base GT (deep impact, ruby red, or guard)...turns out the only one I found at the dealer was a competition orange with dark accent and black roof. Thought a lot about the color, a bit too flamboyant for me......but she's a beaut!

I told my wife, maybe she should guest star in Orange is the New Black.

congratulations on the new stang! how do you like the lightning blue color? One of my color choices was the deep impact blue (discontinued after 2016 model). Not sure about the lightning blue as i have not seen it in person

Beautiful car. I've always liked the Race Red especially with the PP.
