Hi I have a 17 GT with the Ford performance/Roush 2.3l supercharger. The intercooler pump is howling and I'm replacing it with the 13/14 GT500 pump and need some advice on refilling the fluid.

I have the whole vacuum fitting setup and wanted to know how much air pressure to run through the lines. The air tank is regulated and can be adjusted up to 150psi. I don't want to send to much and screw something up.

Also will the hoses collapse fully? I've gotten it down to -25 and it holds but the hoses aren't compressed. Assuming I still need to pull vacuum? Don't want to break something in the process.

Any help is much appreciated 👍

If you pull 25 inches of vacuum it should do the trick.

By design of the hose routing with that system , the pump will self prime when you fill the degas reservoir.

Worked like a charm thanks for the moral support 😀

Noticed a big difference in flow with the new pump while the new fluid was circulating.
