I always wondered about this theory of reflecting heat. So where is the reflected heat going back to? The intake runners of the already warm cylinder head. Thus not doing a damn thing.

Maybe i can see the benefit if you are doing Lemans racing but not in real world. I would focus on cooling the engine bay with heat extraction without sacrificing aerodynamics!

Has anybody used one of these yet? I'm looking to maximize my GT350 setup and keep the heat away. https://www.heatshieldproducts.com/i-m-shield
I have this on my car now, reading from the dash, I see just 6-7 degrees over ambient, and I have the Steeda CAI. Prior to install I was usually seeing 12-18 over ambient, being in AZ I will take whatever I can get!

Weird because iats are read at the MAF which is no where near the intake manifold. Maybe it is somehow helping overall underhood temperatures which would definitely lead to lower iats.

http://www.stangtv.com/project-cars...d-products-coyote-intake-manifold-heatshield/ I have it on my boss Mani, helps reduce temps and air temps are more consistent. Haven't went back to dyno it to see if it added hp. Added ported boss mani with 47lb injectors and this on the Maniall at the same time. I'm sure it would add hp and tq to any plastic mani so it should do the same for the stock mani or GT350 Mani.

Here in AZ we finally started to cool off, so besides cylinder head temps, stays below 198 in 115 plus, no real way to measure it?

Not really, a laser temp sensor to check manifold temps, a dyno to see if it is making gains over stock.
