Factory heat shield on exhaust manifold?

Hey folks,

Was doing an oil change on my 2020 GT Premium PP2 this past weekend, and noticed a heat shield on my exhaust manifold. It's from the number 8 cylinder, which is driver side, closest to passenger compartment.

My question is, is this a factory item, or does it appear maybe this was added later? I'm the only owner, but I'd like to know if this is on all 2020 GTs, specifically the PP2. My concern is maybe the dealer added it to hide something.

Yeah here's a pic of the factory 2020 manifolds you can see on cyl number 8 it has that heat shield. No need to worry some engineer that gets paid like a million dollars a year put it there for a reason. Don't know why they wouldn't put it on the other ones right next to it but its factory.

Thank you! I was worried someone hooned it on a test drive and it was there to cover up something.
