Yeah, being in California complicates things. Apparently there is another way if you can find a GT350 manifold for a good price. I’m diy-ing everything so parts are my only expense here. However, I live in CA and I have to play by the rules.
I’ve taken down the manifold and pulled the rod. A single steel square 3.5mm rod is failing in these cars and costing thousands in parts/labor for people.
Ford should be manufacturing and selling these bits.
I am working on pressing the adapter w/ball joint on the end of the rods out to try and explore what local machine shops have to offer.
