I'm gonna be doing headers myself soon. I plan to just take my time and spend like 2 hours a day on it until it is done.

I measuring about 1.80" or 46mm at the flange but about .25" or 7mm down into the primary it tapers down because of the bead of weld inside to 1.50" or 38mm. Further in past the weld, it goes back to 46mm. If you could grind the weld down inside without compromising it, I would imagine there is some upper rpm power to be made.;)

Headers done! O2 sensor on the driver side lower required the O2 connector on the transmission to be rearranged. I only received 2 O2 extensions for the upper sensors. Borla S type catback was a god damn BITCH to put back together. New it took 30 minutes. Today it took about 3.5 hours. If anyone has any questions let me know. Car is buttoned up so I can't get super specifics

The more time you have the better. This certainly isn't a project you can just fast forward on. It's very easy to be going on a bolt that takes 5 minutes to do, then the next bolt takes over an hour and you feel beat to death after it. Your plan sounds really solid and relaxing. Over the 4 days I got to enjoy time with my dad, shoot the shit and gameplan the next bolt

Update on the tuning

I received a new tune from Lund, but my alch% won't go over 57%. I've re-flashed the tune over twice and both times it won't attempt a re-learn. On the same gas the old tune said 78% alch. I went and filled back up and the % bounced around from 55% back to 57%. I have logs on the old tune I sent over after the install and I'm working on getting the rest of the logs on this new tune. Shoot everything over to Lund and go from there. Finding a spot to WOT 3rd is challenging with catless headers during the week. You either deal with cops in the morning or Houston traffic after work.

Anyone dealt with this alch% potential issue before? I haven't flashed the first tune back on to see if it goes to 78%, but I guess i should for troubleshooting

I ground mine smooth on my 2013s stock headers. Not sure if it made any measurable difference.
