That's odd as '07-'14 didn't have IRS and their CV jointed axles but rather a solid axle. The only CV joint on the '07-'14 S197 cars was on their driveshafts.WildHorse said:All mustangs 07-21. There cheap enough. Get a pack and compare.
Just copy and pasted what the catalog said. That's odd as '07-'14 didn't have IRS and their CV jointed axles but rather a solid axle. The only CV joint on the '07-'14 S197 cars was on their driveshafts.
I will pass this along and see what they say. Thank you for the link.Ford has a CV joint boot kit, #3a331/4a331 or motorcraft part #'s TS225 and TS243 (RH & LH). Photo shows clips, boots, clamps and grease listed to 5.2l from 7/2015. RH is sold inner and outer, LH is either Inner or outer.

I used an GT500 vin I found online.
Only one of the individual clips seems to be available separately.
I reached out to Ford and the reply I got was that there is no CV boot kit for the GT500 (yet). I asked about the individual parts and I am waiting on an answer. Ill also call white bear lake Ford to ask them about those parts you showed via your link.https://parts.autonationfordwhitebe...500--5-2l-v8-gas/rear-suspension--drive-axles
The above contains the part numbers for the boots on the GT500 axles, they don't appear to be different from the previous link.
GeForce half shafts are boat anchors. If I was drag racing and had my car tuned north of 1k HP, I might want the beefed up axles and joints. However, road racing is about weight reduction. There is no problem with the shafts on the car in terms of heft. They just need a little extra TLC to make them more resilient. What about the g-force ones that came out for the gt500. Lifetime warranty
I wonder who the OEM is? What i have learned is that if a part is a Ford design and manufactured specifically for Ford under contract, they cannot sell the part. What I have seen other OEMs do is to just send the parts and not charge for them.Have you tried searching for similar hardware on https://www.mcmaster.com/?
Back to what I said in Post #3. I am surprised you couldn’t find them though.I wonder who the OEM is? So, I wonder who makes those two parts. At this point, I may have to disassemble and reassemble with the old clip and ring.
