I'm 55 years old, this is my first turbo car and I'm not a tuner, the downpipe will get shelved. Thanks for the advise.
I saw the original post. The number one reason it isn't pushed on this forum is due to cost and time. It's not cheap to get a good tune and takes time to log and tweak.

You are on the right route for even asking that question, you'll be in good shape!

I totally get it, it's a selling point. You are better of with a catted aftermarket downpipe over a catless downpipe in terms of no tune but I souped reccomend it.

With turbo cars I've always waited to get everything first. Cams, intake, turbo back exhaust, turbo swap and more and then get the tune all at once.
