Nothing is more miserable then hot and humid. If you are cold get a jacket or blanket all good. if you are hot and its humid there is nothing you can do but huddle in a air conditioned place. Hot out or even warm equals, smelly people who dont bathe ( move to asheville you can't go 5 feet without smelling someone's armpit and in winter they have to wear jackets so it keep the stink to themselves), mosquitos and bugs, mold, smelly trash and rodents, having to mow grass and crap. cold none of that applies. LOL yall go move to florida LOL

OK rant done :)
Exactly how I feel. I lived in Florida for 45+ years. I actually looked forward to winter just so I could open my windows at home and not have to do any yard work every week. That and plus after a while the beach thing gets old. First place anyone that visited wanted to go was the beach. I'd just tell them I don't Beach anymore and would tell them how to get there. Now I live in Tennessee and it get cold here yeah, so i have to wear something more than a tee shirt now.

Yup I'm someone who parks their hotrod for the winter months. We get winter full force here. I actually like winter to a point the key is to do something you enjoy that fits with the weather and the time period. Of course I usually wuss out and go south for a week or 2 in February to split it up. On the plus side when the car comes back out it's a great feeling and rush to experience it like it's new all over again. Usually during the winter we will get a warmer spell & if the roads are clear and dry out it will come for a good romp. Last winter was the only year my Camaro SS didn't come out as the weather just sucked right through. This is the first winter for the Mustang so will have to wait and see on it.

Man that looks gorgeous though, even though I hate snow. Beautiful house too. Winter out here just means that people revert to neanderthal-level driving abilities when it rains. It's pathetic.

Being from Michigan I love the break the car gets. I don't feel guilty for taking to long to do my mods. Now that I'm living in Virginia my Va. car friends think I'm nuts/stupid for putting up the car.

I would never park my Mustang for months at a time....nor would I have to. I live in Minneapolis so we are quite accustomed to snow, freezing rain and salt on the roads. My Mustang has never been exposed to any of that. However, there are still plenty of winter days where the roads are 100% dry and I give the Mustang some exercise. The forecast is actually looking good for the weekend before Christmas. We are going to Iowa to visit family and I may be able to take the Mustang unless the forecast changes.
This is what I do. Sucks not being able to drive it every day in the winter but it’s worth it to keep the salt off the car.

I live in Boise, which means our winters are fairly mild with an occasional heavy winter. It usually snows 2-5 inches at a time, multiple times per winter, however, it generally doesn't stick around very long and melts off before the next snow a few weeks later. I drive my Mustang year round, except in the snow. I just installed Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ for the cold weather - much better than the Pilot sport 4S on cold roads! I almost always spray the car off after I get home from work if its wet or nasty out. I do my best to rinse in the wheel wells and underneath, but it's fairly low so it's hard to get a good angle on the bottom of the car.

I grew up in central TX and lived in Ga for a little while. Moved to Illinois and after 2 years said screw that. Moved to SoCal and once that contract was up here to Vegas. Suppose to hit the upper 20’s for the low, might have to pull out the “heavy” hoodie.. 3 months out of the year it’s hot here and sucks, the other 9 months are great. I miss the snow as far as recreation goes like snow boarding but f&$k living in that stuff, not for me.

The older I get the more I dislike winter but I'm still driving mine in Chicago, even had the top down last weekend. What it does do is really make you appreciate the nice days even more. Its even worse having vintage muscle car sitting in the garage, Sometimes you just go look at it. But my cure is to just drive it. Even some of the most expensive collectibles today were driven hard when new. I'm not saying don't take care of it but heck, they were made to be driven. So I drive mine. The Mustang will be driven all year but not in snow, the vintage cars I drive until the first snow and then come back out after a couple of rains to clean the salt off the road.

Heck, if it is nice enough I even use the cars for what they used to be used for.

Oh, holy @#$%@#$ I love that car. I've wanted one of those forever. I mean as in I tried to get the ol' man to buy my mom one when he decided to buy her a '70 Cutlass, but no dice. Sigh! Been pissed about that for 50 years.
