It's been very humid and foggy here in Southeast Texas, so much the concrete in my garage is wet and slippery. I have noticed with in a hour of opening my garage the moisture covers the car and the rotors form surface rust. This makes for a pain in the butt trying to clean the surface rust through the PP wheels. I assume this is normal?

Hit your brakes once and the rust is gone (only about 1 atom thick). It's completely normal.

I figured that would take care of it. My car is dangerous to drive right now due to the back tires being worn down to the wear bars and a few chunks of rubber being missing out of the center ribs so it's been sitting for a week. I will be ordering some MRR M350 wheels and NT05 rubber next week. Thanks for the reply.

Yes, moisture on a bare Iron surface will result in surface rust very fast. Fortunately, that rust barely creates much of a mess compared to the pads.

Solution - move to desert like climate area, like Las Vegas, as hardly anything other than the ladies rusts out there.

I would turn into an absolutely worthless human being if I moved to Vegas, and it would have nothing to do with a gambling problem. Too many of those high end hotties out there that get paid for a certain service.
