After 2 seasons of owning a 23 Mach 1 Non-HP I am finally completing the HP Conversion I have wanted to do since I bought it. I ordered the HP Wheels from Levittown Ford a few months ago. Today, I purchased the matching Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires for the wheels from Tire Rack. I also purchased the Lip Moldings and Splitter from LMR. Now just need to wait for the weather to break in the frozen tundra of upstate NY and Ill be finished with the conversion. Im also going to be adding some engine dress up pieces before it hits the road, looking forward to this season gents. Pictures to come when its done.

Fortunately mine was done when I bought it. I am switching the wing soon. The one on it now will be for sale soon if you don't have one of those yet. It's a Ford performance in gloss black. I have bought another one and having it painted this week.

Gorgeous looking Mach, exactly what im chasing. I do have the OEM wing and gurney flap but im sure you will have no issues selling it. Oh, I also got custom plates this year too. 23MCH1 is the best I could do, I am limited to 6 characters for veteran plates in NY.

Nice! This is on my list to do, minus the wheels. I'm keeping my 19s magnetic wheels.

It's way more than if I bought a HP from the start. I didn't buy my Mach 1 until April of 2023 and by the time I made the purchase, there were very few available. There were a few HP cars around the country but all had the Recaro seats which I did not want. The breakdown is below, everything includes shipping but not tax including where I purchased.

Wheels - Levittown ford $1390
Tires - tire rack- $1720
Wing and gurney flap - LMR - $480
Chin splitter - LMR - $585
Fender flares - LMR - $330

It was $3500 and went up a few times before peaking at $4500. The HP package also has adjustable strut mounts, different front and rear springs, and a different rear sway bar. I had to convert mine as HP cars were unobtainable when I purchased mine.

I wish they had given us different tire options )= I sold my cup 2 tires with 26 miles on them which helped but used tires are used. So still had to shell out extra 1100 for ps4's

I had no idea that the springs and sway bars were different, very interesting. I am looking at the Steeda Mustang Dual Rate Ultimate Handling Lowering Springs, I hear a lot of good things about them. Any idea whats different about the sway bar?

Do you plan to track your car? If not I wouldnt change suspension and enjoy the car's street performance.

If yes, then you can consider swapping springs (a hassle for a slightly stiffer rate) and rear bar (pretty easy). The stiffer rear bar is not noticeable on the street but makes the car handle a little more neutral on the track.

If you just want the car appear to be the HP model I wouldn't chase the underside mods. Makes for a better daily and vacay car.

If you’re not tracking the car leave it alone. I’ve had both springs and the HP springs are only marginally stiffer. The fronts are almost identical, but the rear is noticeably stiffer springs. The rates are actually in the owners manual or supplement. The difference in the rear sway bar is that the HP sway bar is solid (same OD’s). The front sway bar is the same. The camber plates probably help the most as you cannot get enough negative camber without them for optimal grip and tire wear. I went ahead and changed the springs when I did camber plates and the rear subframe lockout kit.

It’s probably not worth changing to OEM springs like I did, but I’m happy with the change for a dual purpose car.

The Ford Performance springs are better rates IMO for what you are looking to do, and I would avoid the Steeda's if just road driving.
