The service manager stated it took the tech about an hour. He said they pulled it, cleaned it up, and regreased it then put it back in. Unfortunately thats well beyond my capability or desire to deal with so I just left it to them.
Unfortunately he didn't know why this would happen so early on. He did say that he's seen it before in the F-150 quite a few times but this was the first he had seen in any S550. Perhaps I just got unlucky but I'm glad they figured it out.
I wanted to share an issue I had and the ultimate resolution in case it helped anyone else navigate the problem in the future. I have a single owner 23 M1 Non-HP 10R80 that started making a pronounced clunking sound when downshifting between 3rd and 2nd gear (20 to 10 mph). I took it to the...
I just got done doing the HP conversion myself, couldnt be happier with the look. The prices of the HP wheels came down quite a bit and I got them for $1500 delivered. I stuck with the PS4S instead of the cup 2s and and very happy with the results. You will likely want to add in the front wheel...
I took my Mach 1 in for prep for the season. Had an annual refresh on the ceramic coating done, an interior detail, and swapped out the OEM non-hp tires and wheels for the HP setup with PS4S tires. Today they are adding the chin splitter, Lip Molding, and a Sto N Sho bracket. I went in yesterday...
I had no idea that the springs and sway bars were different, very interesting. I am looking at the Steeda Mustang Dual Rate Ultimate Handling Lowering Springs, I hear a lot of good things about them. Any idea whats different about the sway bar?
It's way more than if I bought a HP from the start. I didn't buy my Mach 1 until April of 2023 and by the time I made the purchase, there were very few available. There were a few HP cars around the country but all had the Recaro seats which I did not want. The breakdown is below, everything...
Gorgeous looking Mach, exactly what im chasing. I do have the OEM wing and gurney flap but im sure you will have no issues selling it. Oh, I also got custom plates this year too. 23MCH1 is the best I could do, I am limited to 6 characters for veteran plates in NY.
After 2 seasons of owning a 23 Mach 1 Non-HP I am finally completing the HP Conversion I have wanted to do since I bought it. I ordered the HP Wheels from Levittown Ford a few months ago. Today, I purchased the matching Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires for the wheels from Tire Rack. I also...
Following thread, currently looking to add this splitter and have found the same pricing you did. Levvitown has it for $400 but wants $400 in shipping which is stupid. LMR has it for $500 with free shipping. Very interested in seeing what non oem options there are.
I love the work of the trim on the center console and doors, nice work!. Mind sharing what you used for this? I have the same orange interior and color matching is a challenge.
This weekend the Mach 1 officially went into storage for the Winter. I did tuck it in for the long slumber using the fitted cover I got a great deal on thanks to the parts listing that @Schwerin put together in the forums sticky. I didnt even realize I had $250 in Ford Points so it only cost me...
Hey Dan, I saw your post. Nice price on them, im sure someone will scoop them up from you! I saw a couple of tire/wheel deals with the Nittos. They are definitely popular.
Thanks guys, I found a nice deal on CJ Pony Parts and with my Veterans discount as well as their Cyber Monday Deal I was able to get a new set of Ford Performance Mach 1 HP Wheels for about $1300 shipped. I couldn't pass up the deal.
Now its time to get some new rubber for these babies...
