I don’t think the “piston length” has anything to do with revs, if the connecting rod is stretching at 8200 rpm it’s gonna snap. I suppose when the engine is warmed up, the rod might get a bit longer, but not really. When the motor is warmed yes the piston rings will expand some to seal the note….That piston needs to be fully exercised the entire length or you will get build up on the walls.
