How often does your GT 350 see redline?

I would prefer the GT350 to have slightly steeper gearing as well. It should top out 1st closer to 40 mph and have the rest of the gears set up correspondingly. And 5th and especially 6th are WAAAY too tall. 6th is just dumb IMO.

I have to disagree with that. The gearing in the GT350 works well for road course use, which is what the GT350 was born to do.

I love 6th for highway cruises/long road trips, exhaust goes quiet, revs come down... I can relax a bit. I call it hibernation mode....

Thanks I do mean shorter gearing. But I think steeper gearing is also correct.

The GT350 does work well on the road course, but I think that the gearing could be shorter and still function well on the road course. The additional benefit is the car would be more fun on the street, where these cars are driven the most.

But.... no. I mean, that's not how you're supposed to use it. The Voodoo has no low RPM torque or HP.

And that makes it perfect for street driving as well. I really don’t care if I have crazy low end torque on the street…it keeps me and others safe

I do agree with this. The current gearing and soft bottom end make the GT350 easy to drive in low traction conditions. And they make it easy to drive smoothly.

Unfortunately my friend I think the glory days of the N/A ICE have peaked. I hope I'm wrong. That new Chevy FPC engine they're putting in the ZO6 is probably the swan song. :(
