I had no idea these burned oil. Last 2 oil changes were free (Ford granted a free change after purchase and Firestone gave me a free one for waiting so long). Never done an oil change myself on it. I need to check...

Usually 1/2 a quart or less over 5k.

Really happy with that.

My change oil light comes on around 2800 miles because I drive hard, and I use about 2 qts.

First Mustang was a 19GT PP1. Used 1/2 quart between changes. Current ride is a Roush RS3, I do some WOT rolling pulls..............oil does not move between changes.

I broke mine in pretty hard. Old dirt bike rider here. Was doing WOT through 3-7 gears quite often kinda like every chance I got. I have 18k miles on this 19 so went through 3 oil changes getting ready for a 4th. I change every 5k. I have not noticed any appreciable drop of oil level reading on the stick ever. Could be like a 16th under full but no more than that so don't bother adding. I don't know what that amount indicated on the stick would measure.

So my 2019 gt started life hard. I bought it new off the lot. Drove right to track to test it break it in. Then gutted made racecar never to see the street again. I'm racing not using any measurable amount of oil by the stick and not using catchcans or oil separators. While I'm still learning the car and have more in it I'm not pussy footing it either considering I'm the scca conference champ in this car for 2020. I have broke in about 6 motors in 15 years. I'm a big believer in the wack it hard motorcycle break in method. I would never be nice to a new motor.

I had short block replaced due to bbq tick back in time. My original block did consume a lot of oil. More than it should accord to user manual. I was going to bring it up. New block doesn't.

1 qt per 1,000 miles.

So about 5 quarts per oil change for me
That's excessive. Something isn't right there. I only ever had one engine use that much oil and it had to be replaced under warranty.

15k miles so far, oil changed (Mobil 1 5w20) every 3k- so 5 changes so far, plus one at ~800mi to replace the factory oil (six total). Consumption as been ~1/4 qt per change, and some of that ended up in the catch can.

Break in was staying under 4.5 k rpm for the first 500mi, then occasionally hitting 6k rpm to rev limiter up to 1k mi. Normal fun spirited driving since 1k mi.

Been pretty lucky as far as oil consumption other than changing it too often... :)

About 1/2 qt. for me in 5K miles. I'm happy with that considering how the these cars are used.

My 2019 Bullitt uses about 1qt every 6K miles--same as my '08 Bullitt--plus about one teaspoon per 1K miles in the catch can. This is an extrapolated number, as I get 'free oil changes for life@5K miles or 5 mos, whichever comes first' from the dealer. I average about 500miles/mo., and get it changed at 6mos--give-or-take. It has the 'tick,' I just turn the tunes up.

On the last change, the 'tech' only put 8qts in; I had a word with the dealer's service manager.

My truck uses 8 oz at 3000 miles. I top it off and it makes it to 5000 miles. It has 21000 miles on it.
My car has 2000 miles on it with no oil used yet. Gently driven.
