Geographic location has a lot to do with it. My rates can vary between $150 a month and $320 a month based on what physical location I move to within a 20 mile radius.

Living in the south doesn't mean lower insurance. Insurance can be ridiculous in Louisiana.

how i get mine so low with state farm:

1k deductible, I run higher deductible because i don't believe in lower deductible and paying more every 6 months when if anything happens to the car it's going to cost more than $500 anyways if you didn't want it to hit your insurance... so might as well make it $1k and save every 6 months. Downside of course is if you have to use your insurance for anything 1k+ you have a 1k deductible but upside is if anything happens to the car that is less than $1k...you don't have to use the insurance and just pay for whatever it is out of pocket.

I also live in SC, plus my house, another car= multi discount etc with no tickets(fallen off), no wrecks, 29, and my wife is same way

= my current car 2013 veloster turbo is $310 every six months and $350 every 6 months for my wife's 2015 rogue. however I was quoted $390 every 6 for the GT. $370 every six for the Ecoboost. for reference I had an 03 350z before my Veloster Turbo and it was $301 every 6 months.

Just tell the agent 5 to 8k a year...I did that for the car and truck since driving will be split between the two... second is your region and county you are in, credit history, age, I am 41... I did a 1000 deductible because I have rarely ever used insurance yet forced to pay it, tied into my homeowners insurance which also made that drop as well... record is not stellar in the past.... mustang is a pleasure vehicle and in the garage on the bad days... using allstate since I have ever started driving

Oddly enough, my mom's fusion is 590 a 6month now with my truck and mustang both being cheaper than hers even with allstate... which quoted my mustang @ 800 for 6 months so I booted the agent and brought mine along with homeowners... same coverage.... they have an old insurance plan since 1980 and now she is thinking of putting hers on my insurance or with the same agent
