Which is exactly what I'm asking. I have the stock build from 707 Performance which I think is using the "canned" Pro Charger tune. I think I actually asked if it was my tune that makes the car act like this.

Is Lund the best option for the Pro Charger? I need to do something as there is absolutely no power below 3800 rpm. The tires won't break loose at all until we hot that rpm range. It feels like I'm driving a 4 cylinder below 3800.
Converter was the best money spent on my car no doubt!
I have a procharger D1SC on my 2014 gt and i never have traction issues. Granted i am running drag radials (nitto nt555r) but i think your issue is with the tune and also your suspension. I also have a Circle D 3C and it is awesome, definitely a solid upgrade for a centri car. When you start adding power to your car you need to make sure you have the suspension and tires to put the power to the ground. I have a Lund tune as well. They are definitely one of the best tuners but everyone has their preferences. Ditch the procharger tune, a reputable tuner will make your car much more responsive.

OK, so question for the Procharger guys...

I've got my mind set on the Stage 1 HO kit. Not planning to break any records or chase big power, I just want a one-time engine install that is going to give me a nice big hike in power.

I love the simplicity of the Procharger kits, and would feel confident to install myself and have no issues. I've read pretty much every piece of install info there is.

The big question I would like an answer to, is how does the base level 8psi boost hit feel?

Does it pin you back in your seat and give big smiles?

I love the fact the power is more top-end with the centri, so I can chill when I want, then tap into the boost if I open up the throttle into the higher RPM's.

I've never been in a boosted Mustang, I work every day of the week, have 2 jobs, and have never even made a single meet or cruise, so for those people who would recommend finding a local car to ask for a passenger ride, the chances of me being able to co-ordinate that are pretty slim given my schedule.

So, I digress, how does the Procharger feel when it hits boost???

Any insight appreciated before I pull the trigger

Maybe you saw my thread a couple months ago asking about the same thing. PC P1X here and all stock. The family calls my car “ The Saw “ because of the whine lol. You’ll not regret getting a procharger. Like everyone says, drives like a stock but, really stupid fast once you downshift and floor it. I just want to say to look into DR’s because the car will be fast! I don’t daily the car but, every time I go out for a drive, I want that piece of mind knowing the car will hook 99% of the time.

Still some good info. Looks like I need a stall for my P1SC. Has 600 and hits hard when it does hit but takes a while to get there it seems. I ran 4.10s on my 02 Procharged GT with a 2800 stall and was 7.5 in the 8th....turtle. What stall speed are you guys running with the S550 procharged?
