Guard:
Pros – Unusual, below radar, stealthy, understated, bold, confident
Cons – Invisible, not green enough, easily mistaken for gray, too dark to reveal body lines in most lighting conditions, over time, in danger of resembling an old Aerostar or Taurus, darker shade reveals body imperfections and dings as well as chips and scrapes

totally wrong. shows the body lines extremely well.

have you seen it in person?

it's downright sexy.

Clearly my friend, you're on the fence with this one so please allow me to assist... Ingot silver!
This!! I had originally ordered Magnetic but when I saw this picture, I changed my order to Ingot. It is truly beautiful in the sunlight.....

I normally don't like silver, but ingot looks really nice on this car.

I agree w/ your assessment on the colors. I personally like loud colors on sporty cars...prob CO for me. Can't go wrong w/ any of them, though.

I have a guard PP with the black wheels and yes it's very stealth. it changes color and pictures don't do it any justice. I will say the body lines pop because of the metallic flake. Sometimes the body rolls almost look sliver/blue. I sold a race red 2011 to get this car, I had a Comp O ordered. I went around and around it was a hard pick to go with Comp, but when I saw the guard in person with the black wheels, I was sold. When the suns out it almost looks highland green, if it's overcast it looks olive drab, and at night black. I hate dark cars but this one I love. I get Stealth and Bat mobile comments all the time, I've even got a few Hey Steve McQueen shoutouts

Since you're in Sea, there is a Ruby Red out front at Pierre Ford. Wasn't much impressed with the color and Ive owned a Redfire Mustang in the past. Its a little dark for me personally but you can go see one ij person there

I was fully for DIB at first, but that changed quickly when I saw a ruby red next to a DIB in person.

I have to agree. I was choosing between DIB and Ruby Red. In direct sunlight, RR wins hands down. The reason I landed on DIB is that, while still looking great in the sun, at night DIB takes on a stealthy look and really shines under street lights where RR fall flat.

For us it's definitely the Ruby Red!

We've seen quite a few of the offered colors at different dealers and although we were always drawn to the Ruby Red from photos we've seen, when we actually saw it in person, it was even more impressive!

I have it on good authority that they ran out of that color and it was quite ugly anyway.

OP, no matter what you get it will inspire something in the range of love to hate depending on who's opinion you are suffering.

From psychology 101, usually the hardest decisions are the ones that are the least likely to make any difference.

CO! Seriously bright colors on this car are amazing. But yes magnetic is gorgeous too. I guess it depends for the OP if he wants to be seen or not ha ha

Buy the color that you WANT. Who cares what anyone else thinks. I have a lot of opinions on the matter of color but it shouldn't affect YOUR decision. Make a choice on which stirs your soul, go with it and don't look back. I already have a guess which color you are leaning towards since you are being so analytical about this. ;)

If I could ask, if this is your 6th Mustang what have the other colors been? I am going to guess, silver, black and white or variants of gray or dark blues. What colors have you had in the past?

Buy the color that you WANT.
Trust me, I will. ;)

People are passionate about color. It's critical in my line of work (offset printing), and I've been schooled on color theory and the science of color. It's fascinating, from an aesthetic perspective and a psychological perspective.

EVERY one of these colors does the Mustang justice… in clearly different ways. It's hard for me to say a negative thing about them. And I hope I haven't hurt anyone's feelings. Remember, this is merely my opinion, fleshed out in the form of a list of pros and cons for easy digestion, most of it is based on photos I've seen, not the actual product. I've had some pretty wild colors, and I've had some pretty conservative colors, but all of my choices were perfect for me at the time I chose them. We change. Our wants and needs change. It's natural.

That said, no purchase will be made until I've been able to see EVERY color in person. I know those of you who've already decided are happy, and I appreciate your encouragement to share your enthusiasm for your selection. Thank you FiveOhBrian… I intend to get my butt down to Kent and check out your stable. Then I'll separate the mares from the stallions.
