How do you guys clean your exhaust tips?

Regular car polish works just fine. Do not use rubbing compound. Metal polishes are also fine, but car polish is more gentle and gets the job done.

Right on. Don't over study this. This car's exhaust isn't unique. Do the same on my C7 Corvette, and my other cars.

Gliptone liquid metal polish w/ 0000 steel wool, does a great job and is FAST.

If your tips are really nasty I would recommend trying Autosol. Works quickly and cuts through carbon stains. Adam’s two step process works really well But takes awhile if the pipes are nasty. Autosol lasts longer than Adam’s and makes maintaining the shine effortlessly. Once the pipes are really clean and shiny one tiny dot of either product on a towel will make them look perfect with one quick swipe. I’ve even used glass cleaner on a paper towel to quickly clean the tip after a long ride. Easy to maintain after they are really clean.
