In the past I would just take a microfiber cloth, wet it, and then agitate the rubber spot until it disappeared. However this is a very time consuming process and I don't think rubbing in one area continuously (even with a microfiber cloth) is a good idea. How do you guys clean the rubber off your cars after a track day?

Not a GT350 owner, but use of glass cleaner and ceramic coating make it extremely easy process

A light coat of
Vaseline® Petroleum Jelly
before you start, in the areas you know the rubber hits.
most of it(rubber) won't even stick to the car.

70% isopropyl alcohol with a microfiber cloth on a clean surface that is free of abrasive contaminates.

I use WD-40 to get rubber off of my cars. It breaks down (softens) the rubber and requires very little elbow grease with a microfiber towel. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

CarPro TarX or Koch Chemie ULEX should do the job for you.

Kerosene - it also removes the residue from race/cloth tape 👍🏻

Thanks guys. My neighbour actually had some of that R3 stuff and it worked well!

Why not coat the panels/area with WD40 spritzes before the event? It would prohibit the rubber from sticking and make clean up far easier after the event. WD40 won’t harm clear coat/painted surfaces.

My PPF guy said not to use any petroleum products on the film, I know that's an old trick for paint but I wouldn't recommend it on any PPF.
Perhaps a better option for PPF equipped cars would be to apply a thick coat of wax and then hose it off afterward?

R3 works great but I noticed that it made some stains on my PPF if I didn't wipe it off quick enough. On my non PPF areas straight onto the paint, R3 worked better than anything else I've tried.

I have since ceramic coated the entire car and now I don't need any products to remove the rubber. Just some detail spray and a microfiber cloth. If you have PPF, I would suggest either wax it beforehand like @NGOT8R said or ceramic coat the car.

If you already have rubber all over your PPF, use some Isopropyl alcohol to get the rubber off, then go over those areas again with a detail spray right away.
