I think he's asking how the nozzle stays in the rubber inlet...like there must be a nut/etc on the inside to hold it in place.
The nozzle goes from the inside out and threads into that 90 fitting. It has a washer on the inside that seals up against the rubber coupler.

Once you get the full potential out of your Methanol kit with a tune, you will be happy. I bet there is 30 to 50 extra horsepower on tap.

Is it possible for it to come loose and get sucked into the engine? Do you have have to relocated the IAT sensor to get the most out of the Meth? I assume you do so you will know what the true temps are.

Anything is possible but its a pipe thread with a little blue loctite so its pretty solid and yes, you have to move the iat sensor so the computer can recognize the cooler IAT and you have to spray affer the MAF so it doesnt soak it.

How much did all that run you and where did you purchase it?

$100 for the Vmp IAT sensor and harness. About $900 and its basically a universal kit from alky control. They are in Tampa. Just call him, his name is Julio. Tell him you have a 2016 Mustang and need the kit setup for a Nozzle to be put in a rubber coupler.

Is this the correct one? I figure I may as well do it since my intake is off right now.

Does the existing sensor just simply stay where it's at?

Slamdcoop0428 did your IAT go up when you switched headunits? I thought if anything they would have decreased with a bigger more efficient blower.
Would a YSI-B be a better option to replace the 2200sl with for less heat & more power & the same boost levels?

You can have the sl sent out and they can upgrade it. Billet wheel and oil fed as well

Any idea how much it cost? I wonder how much more the upgrade is if uyou just spin it faster and wait for it to fail. My plan is to just switch to twins and sell the paxton after i max it out. It is made me very happy so far with a 9 second pass at full weight on a 3.6 pulley with inlet on and 93+octanium.

Idk about cost but was told it basically a 2200X which is even with the ysi-b. Bigger in the corvette market which is how I found out. I know they upgrade the bearings and all. You can call Vortech and they will quote you.

I know I was quoted around $3300 for JT-B headunit.
If it's less than that then that would be a no brainer for me.
