Think if you told folks who the vent is made by... might get the answer you're looking for.

Some require no holes drilled... Roush one does..

Looked at the Roush install instruction, sometimes they offer templets . No go, best suggestion I can make.
First does the vent have studs or threads.

To find the spacing of the hole or studs You want to measure from the OUTSIDE of one, and over to the INSIDE of the other

Say the distance is 4". Center punch plastic, want a material that will hold it shape.
Drill the 2 holes, then check by pushing the vent studs thru or screwing it to the vent.

Outside..................... Inside. that distance is the center between the 2

As to the hole for the vent hot air exit, the underside of the vent should have that. You are going to need a templet that represent the hood, not the whole hood, just the mounting area. to mock that heat extraction hole.

The next challenge will be the spacing, will need to pull the padding down to check the underside of hood, locate stiffing braces, want to avoid cutting those.

Going to take some work, be prepared

Mike at Modurstang has done loads of these - including mine - he does a great job and uses a bracket as well as adhesive

just about to type the same thing. Particularly about the need for a securing bracket to stop them flying off at high speed which others have suffered from when retrofitted.

Man I totally miss the question you had asked. You could actually get pretty darn close

Take a picture of the front half of hood on a car with vents. Make sure you have the hood side body gaps.

Measure the same body line on your car, then the picture. Devide the picture measurement into your hood measurement. That will give you a scale. * #

From the picture make measurements. Multiply those by the number from the division found above * #

Might be too much math, it is not really. But chances of finding someone that will let you drag a tape measure. Across the hood of their Mustang will be much harder. LOL

Or grab your wallet, that you're most likely going to do anyway. Go to a body man or FORD give the task to them.

FYI all hood vents use 3M double sided tape. Zero chance a vent will blow off.
Guy with the over night bonding hype is hozing you, probably owns LOL The hotel next to his shop for overnight guest,

Cheers,

Sorry pal but you’re wrong our hoods/bonnets in the UK do not have the recess for the USA hood vents and those that have been fitted over here without the bracket have indeed “flew off” and our mustang specialist over here (Modurstang) that fits them with brackets is a highly reputable and skilled technician who definitely does not (how do you put it hoze) his customers and does not own any hotel nearby

if you take the sound prrof material off, you will see where the US ones go one. then its just a case of lining things up. any decent bodyshop will be able to do it

alternatively, buy a cervinis hood. They fit perfect. Ask me how i know :D
