If you want fun, get yourself a GT with the active exhaust. More fun than a hot tub full of cheerleaders!
Now you DID IT !!! I overlooked our disagreement on HEMI VS a THREE DUECE GTO ..But Now ...I was gonna get my Mustang TURBOED...Now I guess I'm gonna buy a "HOT TUB" INSTEAD ..........By the way legal age in TEXAS is 17 .. Got two lawyers in the family ,they say 18 is not gonna stand up in court ,, I don't want to TEST their knowledge though !!!! ......Now gotta find some damn CHEER LEADERS , Kinda hard to do in JUNE .............junqdawg

okay so after much thought I think the two cars are priced appropriately.
EB hpp with handling pack is cool as hell, fun too, but a high revving V8 that sounds glorious is awesome especially when it goes faster.

I think if i could only afford the eb hpp i'd be happy with it but since i can easily afford the GT pp1 that seems like the one for me.

The original Mustang was a nice little personal sports coupe.
I read somewhere Carroll Shelby called it a "Secretary's car" before Ford convinced him to build a race car with it 🤣
@AvalancheSVT thats a mean-looking machine. Did you buy it yet?? 👍

Edit: nvm looks like you decided on a GT. I don't think you can lose either way, both are great

Unless you are planning your own exhaust and suspension upgrades I seriously recommend considering these two options.

Active exhaust is a no brainer. Sound in track mode is insane and if you want more just add a X or H pipe.

MagneRide is not an absolute must have, I do not have it. But if I were ordering now I most certainly would. Big, big difference both on the street and in the twisties.

Magneride and Active Exhaust are killer, I wouldn't pass on those if I was ordering

Now I’m upgrading to a Mach 1, but it’s just because I really really want a V8 before they cease to exist. I test drove one and I was blasted away about how different it feels. I test drove a GT with PP1 and decided to keep my EB at that moment.

This is exactly why I sold my supra and custom ordered/bought a V8 mustang. Its going to be amazing looking back years from know and remembering how special the V8 was.

For those that say they prefer the quieter ride of the EB, the GT with active exhaust has 4 sound levels, QUIET, NORMAL, SPORT, and TRACK. They also have the option for quiet start with the click of a button.

99% if drivers are damn texting now. I am a motorcycle rider and hit almost daily. Literally every single person has phone up in air in front of them not looking at Road, also, like 80% of them who are texting also have AirPods in their ears

i don’t understand the airpod shit. Like why the fuk do you need them when you have speakers? But fact is these people are the ones merging in on me and I’m right beside them.

also, no tickets ever given out for this anymore. Just accepted. Makes me so mad. Distracted driving is terrible,

i don’t even think people will buy manuals because they want to give 0 attention to driving, just texting.

i legit saw a girl with a fucking iPad tied to her steering wheel, like a legit dedicated iPad mountdead center steering wheel. It was late at night and she was legitly playing solitaire while driving down road. Shit was so bright I was like omg are you serious?!?
Easy fix. Make all new cars manual. Then if the snowflakes want to drive they are going to have to put their phone down. Or at least pay attention to what they are doing.

I bought my Eb for track days wanted the better handling of the lighter front end. Ended up swapping in a coyote so have experience with the same exact car back to back with both drivetrains. One thing not mentioned is that in my opinion the eb even with more power than the hpp makes is still underpowered for the chassis weight imo. With the v8 it just feels better all around since it has sufficient power to pull around all that weight and still feel fast. The eb felt quick but not fast. And the extra weight on the nose was not that noticeable, even on track. My best guess is because the car is so heavy already.

And then there’s the sound the v8 makes it really makes the driving experience soooo munch more engaging. The driving experience is not specs it’s sensory inputs and sound in a good drivers car is a big one imo.

That's a unique perspective! How was that Coyote swap? Would love to hear more about that.

In my opinion the EB is a more value option because it is fully trackable out of the box without worrying about overheating,
you need an intercooler. don't quibble, just buy it. The factory unit is beyond pathetic.
