American muscle does not offer a visualized option to see what wheels look like on the car.
They do have catalogs of about 1/2 of rims installed. Its not exactly what you want or immediately. Im just letting you know that there is kinda anouther option

The trouble is I'm a relative noob in this regard. Why can't I just contact a tire / wheel company and tell them what my car is and tell them I want 305's all the way around and them tell me what I need? I can't locate anything on any website, its absolutely frustrating. You guys are talking about cambers, and offsets and I have no idea what any of that means. I do know that my car is a PP car and i cannot run nor want to run spacers. If 305's aren't possible in the front, i could settle for 295's but I def want 305's in the rear at minimum.
Apparently you've written off Apex but they have exactly what you are looking for, on thier website.

A DETAILED fitmet guide just for S550s. 6 pages of photos of S550s with different wheels. Every car has the wheel specs listed(diameter, offset, and tire size) right next to that vehicle's profile.

You can also call them and ask for advice, they have real people who answer the phone and know fitments for your vehicle.

They have 8 wheel styles available for your car.. not 4.

You don't have to run spacers, but if you want a 305 square setup, then you cannot rotate front to back without them. The alternative without spacers is a slightly less wide wheel and tire. 285 section width tire on a 19x10 wheel.

Otherwise, no spacers, you're going to have to have a staggered setup.

(there is nothing wrong with spacers, as long as they are hub centric and you install longer wheel studs.)

Fitment guide for the S550:

https://apexwheels.com/fitment-guides/ford/mustang/ford-s550-mustang-wheel-and-tire-fitment-guide

If you're unwilling to learn the basics(what camber and offset mean for example) then it's going to be tough to help you. As a car guy these are things you should know. But if you don't, there are companies who have done most of the work for you.

about a 9 on the tension scale buddy. Take it easy, God is good. Apex doesn't have very much variation, all 8 models / options look about the same. I appreciate you jumping in to help me. Have a blessed day.

Of course, buy the wheels you like. Apex is pretty popular with the track guys, function over form and all that, some of their options are really nice looking anyways. IMO.

But, if you don’t like your choices… Their fitment guide is still very useful. You can apply it to other brands of wheels, if you know the sizing.

I just want 305's all the way around. easy peasy. it looks like i'll need a 10 wheel up front and I can go 11 on the back. not understanding why i'll need spacers in the front to run 305's?

You said you want a square setup.

Different width wheels front to back means it's not a square setup, even if the tires are the same width.

Square means the same wheel and tire size on all 4 corners.

If you have different wheels in front vs the rear, it's not square, and there's likely no way to rotate them.

Also, 305 section width is too wide for a 10" wheel, IMO. You should be stopping around 285.

Why the "need" for 305? Are you tracking this car? Aesthetics? Bragging rights?

If you're set on no spacers, then an 18x10 or 19x10 wheel will work on all 4 corners with a 275 or 285 tire and you can rotate them easily...

305 will fit a 10" wheel, the tire shops here near me are saying they do it all the time, slight bulge, but I kinda like that. I had a 5.7 charger prior to the mustang and ran 305's on a 10" wheel for years with no problem. I like the look of the 305's all the way around.

You can't see 99% of the tire as it's tucked inside the wheel well, but ok.

Tire shops rarely know what's "proper." They are tire changers. Obviously it's your car and you can put whatever tire on it you want or what the shop is willing to do. If you're just driving it around, it doesn't matter much anyways.

Hope you find the wheels that work for you.

I did not say they won’t fit.

I said it’s not ideal.

No one who wants the best performance out of their wheel and tire combo will put a 305 wide tire on a 10” wheel.

You can still drive the car down the road with a poorly fitting tire though.

Lots of guys do it.

I know you asked for some other side shots etc. I found these on an old post. Ignore the F-150 lug nuts. That all Discount had in stock to mount.

If you are dead set on a specific tire size, to go the tire manufacturers website, and in the specs for a particular tire size, they should mention a range of rim width, and a measured rim width. If you want best performance, focus on the measured rim width.

A 305/35/19 has a rim width range of 10"-12". While they may 'fit' a 19x10 wheel, that would be for a bulged look and not ideal for performance. A much better size wheel for a 305 tire would be 19x10.5 or 19x11.
